Nice size, beautiful, clear pictures and or words. I should have purchased the one with 256 GB since it was 199 and don't have a clue why I didn't. It went right over my head. But this is a very good tablet and definitely recommend it.

We recently got a 2025 Toyota Sienna, and I wanted to set up a solid entertainment system for our family road trips. After researching a bunch of tablets, I decided on the Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+, and I couldn’t be happier with the choice.
We use it as a dedicated streaming hub to cast videos to the van’s built-in TV system for our kids during road trips. It handles this flawlessly. Whether we’re using YouTube, Disney+, Netflix, or downloaded content, casting is quick, reliable, and smooth—with zero lag or connection issues.
The Wi-Fi connection is stable, even when tethered to our mobile hotspot, and the interface is super easy to navigate. It boots up fast, and switching between apps or streaming platforms is seamless. The tablet also holds a charge really well, and fast charging is a huge plus when we need a quick top-up before hitting the road.
We also appreciate the slim, lightweight design, which makes it easy to toss in the glove box or center console when we’re not using it.
If you're looking for a tablet to serve as the brain of your in-car entertainment system, this is it. It’s reliable, responsive, and has made keeping our kids entertained during drives effortless. Highly recommended for any family with a van or SUV setup!
Overall, the A9+ has made a huge difference in our family trips—no more “are we there yet?” from the back seats. It’s an awesome, affordable addition to our van setup, and I’d 100% recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their in-car entertainment!

The Galaxy Tab A9+ is an amazing value. The 11-inch screen is bright and smooth, perfect for streaming and browsing, and the tablet feels surprisingly premium and sturdy for the price. It runs fast and smoothly for everyday tasks thanks to its solid performance, and the battery life is excellent for all‑day use. Customers also love the large display, strong performance, and ease of use. Highly recommend if you want a reliable, affordable tablet that looks and feels great!

-False advertisement:neither Samsung nor Best buy offered the peacock subscription
-wifi connectivity issues
-I had to search multiple times through the settings, even after Samsung's website said there wasn't a way to turn off the screen sensors. If you hold the screen just right it makes the screen go black
-battery life is decent and so is the multi screens, but you have to turn on that setting. There is also a setting for battery saving
-moderate loading speeds

I was looking for a budget tablet, i was not expecting much since ill be using it as a media consumption like YouTube, Netflix, disney plus etc. i was suprised how better it was.. as long as you dont mind the 1080p display its good enough. My top features/specs are samsung DeX, 8gb ram, quad speaker, SD card slot and headphone jack.

Bought this tablet not expecting much for how inexpensive it was. But was really surprised at how bright the screen was and how fast the tablet is. I use it daily for streaming, playing simple games and social media. And for those things this is the perfect tablet. The battery life is also pretty good as well. Best tablet out there for under $300

Definitely, very strong, durable and versatile tablet. I Use it all the time. I did not have a case on the tablet Initially when I bought it, and my toddler played with it, dropped a couple times, and it was fine. I knew was was taking a risk but it ended up being okay.

This is a very nice tablet. I needed to purchase it mainly to use in speech therapy for my husband who had a stroke. His online therapy has helped in his recovery. I enjoy it also for everyday stuff. :) :)

Cheap and has ok specs. Doesn't run slow and boots quickly after restarting. Battery lasts me the whole day if I keep the brightness low. It's graphics are alright. If you want a cheap tablet that isn't a monster able to rival a high end pc this is the one. It isn't compatible with the S-Pen but I don't do anything on it that I would use an S-Pen for anyways

My introduction to tablet use was a Samsung Galaxy Tab many years ago. I loved it so much I bought an upgrade several years later. And I am back again to buy another upgrade. Lightweight, good size, easy to learn and use, this is my go-to device when I want to relax in a recliner but still have access to the internet.

For a basic, sub-$200 tablet, the A9 does many things well. Nice screen, fairly snappy performance (with 8GB RAM). Battery life and charge time leave a bit to be desired, but overall, it’s a decent tablet for the money.
However, there are some major design flaws that would prevent me from purchasing a Galaxy tablet again.
The biggest flaw is the usb-C charging port. A quick google search will reveal that a faulty charging port is a common issue. My daughter’s tablet stopped charging inexplicably, one month after the warranty expired. Never dropped, exposed to moisture, and generally treated very well in that one year span. The only fix was for me to remove the screen completely and swap out the port. Thankfully I am skilled enough to do this, but that is not the case for most consumers, and bringing it to a repair shop would likely cost more than the tablet is worth.
If I were to do it all over again, I would have just spent the extra money on an iPad.

Its early in the process, but several points are...
1. The cable provided is only a charging cable (not that it was identified as such) so loading this unit with content was difficult.
2. The SD card slot does not read NTSF format, leaving one to wonder if the slot was malfunctioning. Formatting the SD to ex-Fat worked. Again no documentation for this detail.
3. Set-up through code scanning also did not work forcing this to be manually done. MOVE from the Samsung S2 to this new unit was not possible....
4. Charging block also not included (which is said to be more common, but fast charging has yet to been experienced.
Finally the initial tasks are complete and use of the new unit can be started. A recommendation to buy would only be for an experienced user.

CAME IN REASONABLE TIME AND GOOD SHAPE. MY DAUGHTER AND GRANDDAUGHTER HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH IT AT ALL AND FELT IT WAS ABOUT TIME I TRIED TO OPERATE SOME NEW TECHNOLOGY. IT PROGRAMMED WITH MY PHONE AND INTERNET WITHOUT TAXING MY BRAIN TOO MUCH. NOW TO LEARN HOW TO USE IT FOR ALL IT HAS TO OFFER.

The Galaxy Tab A9 is a solid tablet for everyday use. It’s lightweight, easy to hold, and works smoothly for browsing, streaming, and reading. Battery life is good, and expandable storage is a nice bonus. Great value for the price.

This purchase was to replace a failed A9+ which could have cost almost as much to repair as a new one. The best news was that my main apps restored automatically. I just restored my backup. I'm hopeful this unit will last longer (2 years) than the previous A9+

I've had it for about a month now. I'm currently writing this review with the tablet.
Pros
-screen: looks great. Very solid for it's size, good color, accurate touch controls.
- speakers: around the entire body are several speakers. The bass that can be had out of the speakers is impressive.
-headphone jack: I've only used them with my akg 371 headphones. Was able to drive them just fine, I would stick to 60 ohms and lower though
Battery: battery life has been pretty great. I'd say I get comfortably 8-10 hours of video play back. I did notice I was only getting about 5 hours while video editing with luma fusion but on a tablet. Pretty impressive.
The cons (ish)
-software: I've been using this in an attempt to see if I can replace some laptop duties with a tablet. The biggest hurdle is working with Samsung software. When I had the tablet initially the software was smooth but after a small (involuntary) update the speed of opening apps, timeliness scrubbing, and multi tasking slowed significantly. It seems to have gotten better after the most recent patch but I wouldn't call it amazing.
Camera: I don't quite understand the point of including both a front and rear facing camera of such a low quality. I personally feel no rear camera in exchange for an actually usable front camera would be more useful.
Keyboard case: Samsung marketed this with a first party keyboard cover case, making use of the pogo pins opposite the front facing camera. As far as I can tell it's not coming out. Supposedly it's being shipped with a9+'s if you order directly from Samsung but I've gotten conflicting reports.
I would highly recommend you get the 8gb ram model. I can't speak to the 4gb model but so far I'm impressed for a sub 300 tablet.
