For those on a budget but looking for an ipad, this is a good alternative, offering much of the same features as an iPad and some which are better, such as higher base memory to start plus the ability to add more through an SD card.

I can do some basic operations but need a class/ tutor/ help. Need to know what apps I should download, etc. Am familiar with Excell but not sure how to use Spreadsheet in the same way. Stuff like that. Must look into your classes.

I've had a MS surface for years that I used for surfing the web only. When the memory filled up from the constant updates and my gripe with the lack of popular apps for MS, I decided it was time for a change. I have an Iphone for work, but I was attracted to Samsung for the following reasons: -I have a Samsung TV, and the thought of easily screen mirroring was a definite plus -The ability to expand memory easy with the Micro SD cards -Screen clarity and resolution -Apps -Size -Price -Brand reliability Cons When screen mirroring works.... and it doesn't always find my TV to screen mirror, but can find my TV for bluetooth... go figure... the screen mirroring is at 4:3 not 16:9 so, it never fills the TV screen. This is very annoying. If I knew about this beforehand I would have probably looked for another samsung tablet as this was one of my key features. However, my non Samsung TV in my RV can expand the screen (TV Setting) which fills the screen. Overall, it's light years better than my MS Surface was.

It is also remarkably light, weighing less than my husband's Galaxy Note 4 or my iPhone 6s. put all that together with the very affordable price and this is a must have for a person looking for a new tablet.

Very pleased so far. I had bought Samsung tablet 2 yrs earlier. Died on its 2 yr anniversary. Went to business office office to hv it it repaired. I was not helped at all. Hope this tablet surpasses that one.
