I needed to upgrade from my original Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 and I waited to see if T-Mobile would ever get any new tablets that are not from Apple. Well, long story short, the answer is no. So I purchased this tablet unlocked and popped in my SIM from T-Mobile (Note 8) just to try it. To my astonishment, it worked without a hitch. Tablet immediately recognized it was a T-Mobile SIM and went from there. 4GLTE, 4G, H+ and 3G all work perfectly. Things to note. -Yes it does have a MICRO SD slot, it is in the SAME tray as where the SIM card goes. -It comes with a VERIZON SIM preinstalled. So before booting it up, REMOVE IT 1ST! -The SIM is a MICRO SIM card. My old tablet used a Mini SIM so I learned this the hard way. -I stream a LOT of movies and Youtube and noticed the speed is usually 50+ mbps, which is really awesome. -Yes its 64gb internal but can easily upgrade to a lot more. I bought this tablet months ago to upgrade. When I put my sims card from my carrier in it didn’t work. Best Buy and Verizon say wait for 90 days and it will automatically unlock. I waited and it still won’t work. Now I’m out of 700 dollars for the tablet and keyboard because it won’t work on my carrier. Can’t return it because waiting the 90 days put me out of the window for return. Been dealing with this for months and multiple phone calls and no solution.

Tablet stopped working after 1 mo., I returned to Samsung. They returned it without SIM card & told me to go to carrier, but did NO communication with me about problems. Seems fine now, but very disappointed in Samsung. Overpriced overall.
