Amazingly we were actually able to surprise him him with it. The versatility of the device -- tablet, handwriting recognition, excellent keyboard, etc. -- is really impressive, and of course the hardware design and execution is impeccable. Well worth what it cost.

I usually use it for watching movie and games with the smoked display. Sometime the Dex mode. This 256 has 8 gb ram then the one with 128.

The display is incredible. Cons Not very comfortable to hold The accessories are way to much for how cheap they feel. Just order a third party case

Best, most flexible tablet

I got this from an older iPad Pro 12”. At first I didn’t like the aspect ratio but it has grown on me. I find the Android os to be much more capable and user friendly. With the tablet cover, DeX mode is unmatched by anything that Apple can offer in its large iPad Pro. This is a legit laptop substitute (stand in... not replacement).

I have a apple iPad but switched over to Samsung because it suited my productive needs. The only issue I came across the Samsung S7+ is that the apps lack compare to the iPad, you get a kind of greenish tint when it’s dark & the pen tip is very sensitive. Overall, I’m so happy with my purchase I use it everyday. I love watching YouTube, editing videos, photos, & working on it. I would not say this would be a replacement to my laptop but it’s definitely an added plus in my life. The cool thing about this tablet is that I can have it as a second monitor on my HP. Helps so so so much for me.

Got it for my wife and while she loved the specs, resolution, and features of the tablet it ended up being just a little TOO big for her. She ended up using it more like a laptop and less mobile like a tablet so we got the normal S7 instead. Can't fault the product for that though and if it was me I would've kept it!
