    Don't buy openbox items

    I ordered an 'excellent quality' openbox item and see what I got. There was no box, no pen, nothing but the tablet, which came with just one sheet of bubble wrap. The tablet seemed used for a long time, and didn't even seem like it was just opened. Ebay used items must be better than this. I just returned it right away. Do not buy 'openbox' item. They are 'heavily used items'.

    Beware of this model or possibly of its software. I purchased this unit during the Memorial Day sale and experienced various problems from the beginning, including problems with so-called Smart Switch transferring apps from my Samsung S 23+ phone and including it being unable to read a microSD card that I purchased today. Called Samsung technical support, spoke to two different people and got two different contradictory pieces of information that helped nothing. Decided to do a factory reset. Found out I can't do a factory reset because I have to verify that I am me, and the Samsung account that I had before purchasing apparently was corrupted during the Smart Switch attempts at transferring stuff. Because the account was corrupted, I'm not allowed to do a factory reset on the tablet. However, I have no problems signing into the account on my Windows desktop computer and even tried changing the password and managed to do that without any problems through my Windows computer. When I try to verify that I am me on the tablet, I am told that to verify me an email will be sent to my Gmail. I click on the button for sending the email and I get a email entitled "Samsung account, easily verify using a "one-time permission for Samsung account"." When I open that email up I am told to click on the button below but there is no button. If I click on the opened email I am taken to a page that says that to continue I should click the button below and there is a button. I click on that button and I am taken to a page entitled "Samsung account error occurred this password has already been register or the register period has expired. Use your new password or try resetting your password again." Notice that whoever wrote that message didn't even know proper English and that it should have read password has already been registered. I have of course gone to my Samsung account on my Windows computer and tried changing the password and that was successful. But I still am prevented by the Samsung account from doing a factory reset and get the exact same error message as described above. I now have a tablet on which most of my apps have been grayed out. No way to fix things because I'm not allowed to do a factory reset. Quite honestly I doubt that a factory reset would fix anything because I have had problems with this tablet from the very beginning. These problems are sharply different from my prior experiences with Samsung products. I have a great Samsung S 23+ phone, have had other previous great Samsung phones, used to use a Samsung S2 tablet whose battery gradually wore out, have Samsung TV. None of these other Samsung products gave problems; they just worked as advertised. I will be taking this defective tablet back to BestBuy and requesting a brand-new replacement unit for this defective right out-of-the-box unit.

    This open box item was listed to be in excellent condition and it was the complete opposite. Tablet black was damaged, charger missing, no S-Pen, and when I tried to return it it was a hassle. Thankfully, after nearly 20-30 minutes the team at best buy was able to work out the return.

    Absolutely filthy...it seems that a previous owner had something stuck on the back that just won't come off...It came in a generic oversized box with nothing else...not even the pen...I was so appalled I returned it without even turning it on.

    A complete waste of money. Purpose for purchasing the tablet was internet connection use. Several times it would disconnect. After only about 6 months, it stopped connecting to the internet all together. So, it is basically worthless for me at this point.

    I might have a got a bad unit...buyer beware.

    Worked for a little over a month, love it. Went to bed with it sitting on my desk and it had about 87% charge, woke up in the morning and it was dead. Couldn't power on. I left it charging for 1 hour, nothing. Held down Power and volume down to see if I could reset it, nothing. I took it back to Best Buy and they are handling the repair directly with Samsung. I could have just got a bad unit. I will update my review if it comes back working for over 2 months, but otherwise, extremely disappointed.

    I bought this tablet at the exact same time I purchased the Google tablet. It did nothing as well as the Google tablet and I absolutely mean nothing. It was also more expensive than the Google tablet and doesn't have an awesome speaker. Charging dock three out of five would not recommend it functions and The s pen is a really cool thing for a tablet. I think all tablets should have something like it. Very innovative but the Google tablet is much better for less cash

    no so much the device BestBuy is awful they shiped it to me in a bag...... yes a bag and it came destroyed they want me to dive 45 mins for a refund to a store. please buy anything valuable from anywhere else they clearly dont know how to ship and support is rude and unwilling to help

    It's great for the size and storage but it has been one month and it just won't work. It was fine and battery and all sudden it just went black. I did order it online with best buy but I noticed it was sent from Amazon. Whick is odd. Never buy online even if it's on sale. Not worth it.
