The S pen is fantastic. Palm detection works well and the display is great. Battery life can keep this on all day even through heavy use. The only issue is it's noticably slower than other similar devices I've used and I can imagine this getting worse with software updates. At this price point you have to make compromises somewhere though.

Got this for my husband for Christmas and he loves it. He was looking for something that he could use for both work and play and this tablet is perfect for him. He uses it for Honkai Star Rail and MTG Arena mostly, but he can also use it for work (it actually runs faster than his work laptop!

It works great now. I did have some trouble setting it up but its great for what i need.

This replaced my Galaxy Tab S2, so needless to say I was due for an upgrade. I like the size and seems very quick. It's a bit of a fingerprint magnet, but I can live with that. I bought a case from Amazon for about $15 because I didn't feel like shelling out $70 bucks for a Samsung cover, I did have a problem at first connecting to wifi. It said it was connected with no internet. After resetting the tablet, resetting my modem/router, it still wouldn't connect with my home wifi although it would connect with my phone hotspot. So I thought it was a defective unit, so took it back to Best Buy and they gave my a new one. Got home and same thing- connected with no internet. My home internet was about 5 years old but everything else ran fine on it. Finally realized my AP was powered POE so I unplugged it for a minute, plugged it back in and the S9 finally connected. Everything was great for about a day, then it wouldn't connect again. Tried unplugging modem and AP again, this time it would not connect back. So I called my service provider (Cox) and asked for a modem upgrade. I also ordered a new TP Link AP to replace my old Ruckus AP. Now everything is working great. And I ended getting a deal from Cox and got a fiber connection at 1Gbps for cheaper than my old 500 mbps service. I like the tablet but can't understand why it had trouble with my older internet equipment.

I wish the speakers faced me like on previous tablets. But the screen is wonderful, not cheap feeling like the ipad's at similar cost. Fast charger, thin and light, camera is good, and I can play console games on it. Not max capacity games, but very near quality. Great for on the go. Does more than my Chromebook, honestly. Great laptop replacement option with external keyboard and trackpad. And it connects to everything from phone to tv, and everything in between. This is the "Fan Edition", not even the full galaxy S tab, and I am blown away with it's capabilities. I'll never own another iPad.

Works really well for both of these, multitasking is available so you can pull up a book and a notepad simultaneously. The only issue has been the idle battery life. Over all the battery life is actually pretty good, it just drains a little faster than you might expect when you don't use it for a while.

I bought this based on others reviews. I'm not dissapointed. My fav feature is the stylus. It keeps the screen clean and clear. It has plenty of memory and runs fast

Depending on what you are looking for, this tablet for a mid-range range meets the necessary requirements for entertainment, although the screen is not OLED, it still looks nice for watching videos, anime, etc. Dolby Atmos sound is not very heavy for work, you could check out other options but it works with Luma Fusion for video editing, Pennup for drawings, it has more good applications by default, personally I like it more for the interface in addition to the applications that Samsung and Google offer natively

Back levels are not that great in the dark. Can see bleeding on each corner of the screen. Day time looks great and it's pretty quick for the price. Spend more money for a better screen but if you're on a budget, this will do just fine!

I bought this in open box fair condition and it did not come with an S pen. The tablet was dirty, seemed like it was used as a display - sticky residue on the back that came off with goo gone. Overall only had cosmetic damage aside from missing the pen, everything works well with no damage.

Good table for drawing, sometimes the apps crash, but overall a great tablet.

Great tablet, works well if you have another Samsung phone or Android. The only thing that I don't like is that apps are just not optimized enough for it. Overall though it is really great especially for the price.

I bought this one to replace my portable monitor. It's a lot lighter and I can use it as a table and enjoy watching youtube on a bigger screen.

Reall impressed by this tablet. Had the Fire Max before and could t stand it. With this Samsung, I installed Nova to give it that vanilla Android feel. It has never slowed/ stuttered no matter what I was doing ( games, movies, reading, web browsing). For the price I think this is definitely the best bang for your buck. Screen get plenty bright, speakers are okay, battery lasts and does everything I need it to.

use it a lot for work and some personal use and i love the pen its really smooth and nice its a very nice tablet to have
