Expensive, got it on sale, broke down payments into four... That helped. My issue... For this price and this class of product, should have a backlighting and a way to angle the keyboard. It does not have either.

The keyboard case is a great addition for the tablet

Flimsy, overpriced and cumbersome, not comfortable to use anywhere because of how big yet thin it is. The key travel isn't great, the key placement is worse and unintuitive, app buttons are weird and the trackpad isn't good either. The only reason why I bought it was because there were no worthy alternatives at the time and also because Samsung made sure I couldn't use the one I purchased less than a year prior to that for the previous tablet of the same series. A very greedy move but, then again, it's Samsung and screwing over their user base is just something we have to get used to.

It is okay, but very extensive for what it is and is glitchy sometimes with the tablet

$350 is much too much to pay for something that doesn't even protect the sides of your tablet. I purchased a better one from Amazon for $35 and returned the Samsung one.

I was told by the employee that it would fit on a tablet 8 and it did not. The camera holes did not match up making it not fit

The Keyboard itself is decent. Key travel is what you expect from a Tablet keyboard. But I was surprised when I noticed it was backlit and dimmable. You can detach the keyboard from the tablet pretty easily if you don't need it. Sometimes, however, some keys don't work on first press. This is rare but note-worthy. Shift doesn't always register so capital letters might be missed when typing. And some keys will double-press when you hit them once. Again, very rare. The magnetic case is kinda hard to line up when installing but once its on, its not going anywhere. Its very secure and the kickstand flap is super sturdy. This is also the best way to store the S Pen, as it comes with a removable plastic cover to hold it in place. The material is also very prone to show oils from your hands or work station. If you like your devices to look clean, then you will be cleaning off the case frequently. Biggest issue with this entire case is the potential for scratching up the screen of the tablet when closing it up. Ive been very careful with my tablet since I got it and I have deep scratches in a few spots. A screen protector is a must if you get this case.

Brand new out of the box and totally non functional

For what you are getting, it's overpriced. Samsung needs to integrate the kickstand into the tablet, especially for one as large as the Ultra. It's effectively unusable without one, which requires you to buy this pricey keyboard case. The stand works well enough, has lots of adjustment, is sturdy, has strong magnets that hold it to the back and is safe to store the pen. The keyboard is long and a bit flimsy. It won't work on your lap, and the table surface must be flat. Keys are responsive, as is the touchpad. It is large and smooth. The backlight is a nice touch. The most significant negative is the touchpad/keyboard will intermittently stop responding while charging (including the OEM charger/cable). This has happened with multiple Samsung tablets and keyboards. Otherwise, it's still the best keyboard for the Galaxy tablets; it just needs more improvement if it wants to justify the price and catch up to the iPad's quality and functionality.

A few things: -The letters on the keys are backlit. There was some misinformation on the internet that this was not the case. -The key travel feels good. Feels similar to other 'premium' products. -Trackpad is accurate and smooth. I really like this keyboard. With this in mind I can't say it's worth the asking price. The price point where this would be a no-brainer recommendation would likely be close to half of asking.

Its a great product and has been very convenient, but it is not best for the price. Could be more affordable.
