Got this as a gift and I like it so far. Keeps track of everything you need heart rate, pedometer, even tracks your sleep. Battery could be better but still is decent and I also like that you can reject or send calls to voice mail from the watch. Custom wallpapers is a plus so you can add your own style and has lots of changeable armbands.

My husband and I both got one for Christmas while they were half price. I would've given it 5 stars, but it doesn't work with the MyFitnessPal app so I took off a star. I do wish the battery life was a little better, but it seems to charge quickly so that's ok. On average it seems the battery life will last for about 2 days. We both own Samsung phones, so that was a big selling point for us to buy this brand.

Was looking for something like a Fitbit for pedometer and heart rate. Love the GearFit but wish it's app was more useful like the Fitbit's ability to see how active your friends are. Battery sometimes drains for no reason but not a regular occurrence. Love being able to see my texts and calls on my wrist. Pedometer not the most accurate but gives me a general idea of my activity level for the day.

lots of fun! so convenient! I often turn my phone down and forget to turn it back up, but the Gear Fit let's me know its ringing! Wanted a good pedometer and it's the best--except when mowing the lawn or grocery shopping with a cart--so I put it in my pocket if I want to see how I am doing. It didn't measure steps when I was on the elliptical either. But besides that drawback, I love it!!!

Samsung - Gear Fit Fitness Watch with Heart Rate Monitor is a great device for someone who does not want to have their phone attached to them 24/7 to monitor steps, heart rate, and sleep. I use my Gear Fit watch to receive appointment reminders, texts, and notifications of phone calls. I created a text that I can send from the watch that can tell the caller, 'I am not by my phone, but will call |them| as soon as I can." It has helped me reach my daily step/activity goals and keeps me on task.

I bought this mainly for use as a watch and pedometer, and it works great. Make sure you can download the app on your Samsung device before buying, however. I pre-ordered the Gear Fit, then couldn't get the app, even though my phone was on the list of compatible devices. A nice tech at Samsung explained that my cell phone company had not updated my phone. The phone was updated a month later, and now everything is OK.

After trying several times to get the fitbit to sync with my Galaxy S5, I was shown the GearFit by an associate. I'm so glad he did, becuase the GearFit has more options. It has heart rate monitoring but most importantly it has notification that alerts me of incoming calls, text messages, and emails. I love that. Works great!!!

    Good Accessory for Working Out

It's a good accessory to keep track of your workouts. It's has all the options I was looking for to keep track of things, and it had added bonus options I wasn't even looking for. Being able to read my text messages, emails, and get notifications definitely are a good plus. I'm actually glad I went this route rather than getting the Fit Bit I was going to get. It was cheaper than the Fit Bit, and gave me more options. The only two downsides to this is, one, sometimes it doesn't always read the heart rate after I have gone running and I'm all sweaty, or it doesn't read it correctly. And two, since I paired it to my Galaxy S5, when I turn off the Gear Fit to recharge, or any other reason, my phone doesn't keep track of the Step count or other items, because it's waiting to get the info from the Gear Fit. Don't know if it's a phone issue, or a Gear Fit issue, but I would like my phone to continue tracking things when the Gear Fit is disconnected, or off.

My wife wanted a fitness tracker, but wanted something a little more than just a band with a itty bitty screen and time on it. So I got her this (I have the Gear 2). She loves it! It does some other simple tasks as well as her fitness tracking, and we got a steal of a price!

Made sense to buy this opposed to Fitbit since I have a Samsung phone. For the price, it actually has more features than Fitbit. Downside, the band. Seems to do what I wanted it for & as I expected. Slightly complicated to figure out how to use all the features, but would probably be true of similiar devices. ONLY WORKS WITH SAMSUNG PHONE.

I got this for my wife so just Like the title says, its definitely worth buying. It does everything it claims to do, heart rate monitor is accurate and i like the fact that you can flawlessly control your S6 for music playing. The only thing i wish it had was a speaker so that you can hear a chime when the phone rings ect. The vibration notification is pretty cool it vibrates when you get notifications and when someone calls you and it shows you who it is. I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Specially for the low price bestbuy has it for.

Run by S Health the Samsung Gear Fit is great for many uses; as a watch as a timer or stop watch, to remind me to turn off the drain on the pool :), it lets me know that I have a phone call or a message, and I can even read the message on the Fit! It does a good job of tracking my heart rate right after I do cardio, but not so well while actively doing cardio. The gyroscope is sensitive, creating pretty accurate steps. I've tracked my sleep just to try it, and it confirms that I don't move around much while I'm asleep. It's a great product.

Looks really nice and easy to use but make sure your phone is compatible, some reviews says you can use an application to pair it with an iPhone, but I couldn't do that, it doesn't even pair with my Samsung tablet, and it doesn't work if not paired, I wish I could use it as a heart rate monitor, it looks way better then the Fitbit

We really like this, particularly the pedometer and heartbeat. I took off a star because I wish there was a way to keep it on all the time. I don't mind if the battery wears down faster. Sometimes shaking or lifting your hand doesn't turn it on. But otherwise, very pleased with our purchase. Have a Galaxy S5 and it paired quickly.

This smart watch does so many helpful things: alert text and calls, heart rate, weather, customize background, etc. All without a data plan. I am disappointed in that after wearing the watch faithfully for over 6 months, the silver edging around the screen is chipping off ....ugly! Would have liked the material to have been more durable and not painted silver! But, still cool product.

As a owner of several Samsung Galaxy products, I am pleased that I am able to sync my fitness watch with my Galaxy smartphone; the watch syncs to the "Samsung H" fitness app on most Samsung Galaxy smartphones. I have a very active career in the retail industry. It has a pedometer & heart rate monitor in it, so I can track my every movs at work, or home. Also, it has a sleep timer w/ a sensor where I can track my sleeping patterns. It even tracks my movement as I sleep to tell me if I was motionless or tossing & turning. A added bonus is that you an upload your own background for the watch face, change the watch's overall look & download more faces through the Googlet Play app store. This is an excellent watch that I only take off to charge; which every 4 days, or so. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to live a healthy lifestyle & needs an easy tracking system to assist.

I purchased the Samsung Gear Fit after having purchased two cheaper fitness bands elsewhere, and returning them when they stopped working after a few weeks. I was looking at the Garmin and then was shown the Gear Fit. It was an easy decision after seeing all of the extra things this band offers. Along with the pedometer and heart rate tracker, timer and stopwatch, you can see the time, read emails, see who is calling you, adjust the volume on your phone, and more. Every time I wear it someone (even strangers) ask about it and they are amazed. It is easy to use and I love it. I took one star off my rating, as after two weeks of my purchase, the pedometer stopped working. I returned it to the store and they gave me a new one. No problems with this one, however, I decided to purchase the extra coverage on it, just to be sure. It looks great too!

This watch syncs perfectly with my S5 and performs extremely well. I love the Notifications feature because I can see who is trying to reach me during a workout, and can send a quick reply to text messages. It holds a charge for several days, fits well, and is very comfortable on my wrist. Rhys at our King of Prussia Best Buy provided a great tutorial, and even this technologically challenged, middle aged woman had no problem utilizing the many features of this watch immediately. Love it!

Love this device! It has a heart monitor, pedometer, and sleep tracker. The device vibrates when you receive calls or text as well when your alarms sound. Only dislike is that it doesn't allow you to respond to text right from it.

I got this as an early Valentine's day present. My husband did research and thought that I would like it more than the fitbit. After just one day I love it. It connects to my phone and it's great when I'm at work and I can quickly see texts or emails without pulling my phone out. It's great that it can tell me how I'm sleeping and it let's me know when I hit my step goal.
