    Excellent watch

This is an excellent watch. Before this watch I would leave my phone everywhere. The watch will vibrate (set to vibrate) when you have gone out of range from your phone. I turn around and go back for it. I carry my phone in my front pocket, when I drove it was a hassle to pull out my phone every time I received a message just to see who it was. Now I can simply glance at my watch, see who it is and decide whether to answer it or not. I can also send quick replies from my watch. Sometimes I wouldn't hear or feel the phone vibrating, but the vibration on the wrist is a very distinct feeling. I don't miss any messages or calls anymore. I would have given this a five star rating but it is only water resistant for short dunks in water or taking showers. If I could have gone swimming/diving with it I would have found no flaws with it. I have used this watch daily for little over two months. Oh the fitness portion of it also works well. Battery lasts me about 3-4 days. Recharges in about 30 minutes.

Im in love with my fit watch. Its perfect for work or at the gym. Anywhere. I can control my music with my fit watch to my blue tooth headphones while leaving my phone on the charger. Its nice while im at work because im running around all day and can quickly look at instant messages or emails. I like that it keeps track of my steps and sleep. I got the bigger watch originally but returned it because it was too tacky on me. I gave this a 4 stars mainly because i feel like some of the apps arent very accurate at all, like the heart rate monitor. But it truly is worth it and is actually a great deal considering all that it does. If you dont want to talk to your watch like a secret agent but you want something small and can do most of what you need, get this!

I purchased this product mainly for gym use and it has turned to be my wear all day watch. I love that it has a pedometer and exercise tracker and heart rate monitor as well. Not only that but the sleep tracker too. The battery last a long time too. I usually have to charge it once a week and maybe for a couple of hours if that. My friends have even gone out and bought some for themselves and their parents because of the heart rate monitor.

I absolutely loved my gear fit! The battery life is freaking amazing on this thing. I could drag it out to 3-4 days pretty easy meaning I could wear it at night as a sleep tracker and have it vibrate as an alarm clock for a better morning wake. Also the ease of use for basic functions is awesome and the small almost bracelet like design made it never get irritating as opposed to other smart watched. Whats the most amazing thing is the low price for such a great watch! Only 2 draw backs and one other thing to point out. First drawback, the app support is like a zombie wasteland of nothingness. Second, that little charger that is like trying to snap a paperclip to a banana. Takes some practice. Last thing to point out, this is a great watch for every day basic use, but I would say it is lacking in the "Fit" area. But with that price and awesome basic functionality with battery life, it is an awesome product!

Initially, we bought these as a pedometer that could do more. Now, we use them for the "more," more than the pedometer! It's a great way to discreetly get notifications from your Samsung phone without always having your phone in front of you. I also use the timer and heart rate monitor. The battery life is excellent. We only charge them every third day. My husband loves his and thinks it's perfect. I've only got a few issues with it. One is that it is a bit big/bulky and not very feminine. I wish it came in other colors for the wrist band. Also, the pedometer doesn't track your steps if you are holding on to something like a grocery cart (or a stroller if you have small children). The heart rate monitor will not work if your wrist is very sweaty, which kind of defeats the purpose of using that while exercising. For the price though, it does a lot more than other fitness wearable tech.

I enjoy wearing this watch and keeping track of my steps. It is handy for the heart rate app ( just to check that the doctor isn't cheating, of course ) and the notifications are easy to read so you see who is calling before you grab the phone. I like it.

Not only does it track steps or running exercise it also tracks sleep time and if you are restless or motionless. With the extra function of alerting to Voice, Text, or email messages I am still able to check to see if the messages are important since the written ones can be read on the display when you have your phone muted in Dr's office or such. It is comfortable to wear and fits a large range of wrist size.

Best Merger of Smart Watch and Fitness Band Yet

I bought this whenn I lost my fitbit (which I LOVED) as a fitness band, with the added perk of being a smart watch. I've found that the fitness band aspect is a bit lacking. The sensor is REALLY sensative in that it can overcount steps when you're standing still using your hands, and I know that's a drawback of using a wrist-based pedometer, but as a former user of fitbit, it's more than just that. I hope there will be a firmware update that fixes this issue. Samsung also seems to think that me, at 5'10" has a stride length of what seems like 10'. After walking an exact mile, and the steps being accurate (I borrowed a friend's fitbit to test), my S Health app told me I walked almost 1.56 miles, which is just ridiculously off. I had to change my height in my S Health app to under 5' to get it anywhere close. I use the smart watch aspect more than I ever thought I would. I love getting notifications from whatever app I want sent right to my wrist. It's way more useful than I ever could have thought. The range on the bluetooth is also fantastic (paired with Samsung Note 3) so I never have to worry about bringing my phone with me if I am ever worried about missing a notification. All in all, I love it. I decided to go with the Gear Fit over the Gear 2 or Gear 2 Neo because of how well it seemed to fit on my wrist compared to the other two and I've never looked back. With a few software updates from Samsung (that I hope are coming) it could be exellent.

This watch has many uses! I have it connected to my phone via Bluetooth and receive notifications when I get text messages or incoming calls. I can even read the text message right on the watch. It has all of the normal features you would expect on a fitness device and has a sleep feature. This feature let's you know how long you slept and the percent of motionless sleep. I am well pleased with this watch.

The Gear Fit is a great little product. I love being able to see texts and emails that come through without looking at my phone. The sleep/heart/exercise monitor is handy if you are curious about your normal activity level. The only complaint that I have is that the battery only lasts for about 2 days. However, it fully recharges in about 2 hours.

I read a few reviews before getting this and they weren't all favorable. Most complained about things I wasn't planning on using. I got a great sale price on this and decided to give it a try. I have enjoyed it and it's performance since getting it. It syncs to my phone perfectly. It shows the time, email, and messages great. It will let you change background to your pictures if you want to. Other reviews have complained that it doesn't take heart rate very well, but I get great results from it. I found it picks up heart rate better if you wear it like it says to, and look at it like a watch while it gets heart rate. I have used it walking on treadmill in walking mode and it seems to keep a running heart rate only when in walking mode. I have not tried running mode so I cannot review. For my money I call it a good deal.

It's easy to use and stays charged for a long time. I love how it helps me keep track of how many steps that I have walked in a day. I love how it syncs with my phone and how I'm able to receive text messages. Also, love how I can see who's calling me too.

Love my Gear and everyone who sees it is quite intrigued. It has so many functions from pedometer, sleep timer, heat rate monitor, text relayer, incoming call notifier plus a stop watch and timer that I have not used. It encourages me to keep moving by by step tracking. Even if you do not claim in an exercise, the pedometer is always on even during sleep monitor (handy in case you forget to turn that off in the morning as I have been know to do. The sleep monitor has to be tapped on when you go to bed and off in the morning but it actually gives you a percent and time for motionless sleep. Love the heart rate monitor and I use it periodically during the day and sometimes after vigorous tennis so I have gotten a better feel for what my rate is at different times. If you are proficient at counting beats and timing you won;t need it but I always had trouble with that. The sync with my Samsung Note II is seamless. I had returned a fitbit which had to be resynced and it lost all my data but even when I go out of range (it lets me know) it reconnects immediately and no data is lost. I considered buying the bigger model which allows you to talk on it but decided not to as I was told the voice quality is not good and I do use a bluetooth on my ear when in longer conversations. I also like the less obtrusive size. I did turn off the automatic lit feature that goes on when you position your arm to read your watch. I liked that feature but preferred to extend the battery life. I only charge this when I shower.

This is an awesome product!. I never happened to answer my phone when I'm at work but with the Samsung fit band, my family can reach me anytime now. Also It motivates me to walk more often because it keep tracking my steps which I love. It tells me how many hours of sleeping time I had. Now I understand why I wake up so tired, lol. I really love this gear fit and so far no problems at all.

I am very active, from leisure running to aggressive sports and this tracker does what I need it to do. When I chose this band, these were my top three considerations in functionality: a band, not a watch; heart rate monitoring; battery life; and user interface. I did not want an full faced watch, just a band to track my activity, because too much bulk increases the chance of damaging my new tracker. A heart rate tracker was an extra perk that I wanted since I was getting a tracker, so why not. I compared a hand full of trackers but the battery life helped this one stand out even more. I also have a Samsung Galaxy so they pair well together by sharing and communicating data to one another. I wanted something to give me notifications but not too much to where I was distracted from my workouts. For not going over $150, this tracker does exactly what I need it to do. If I could change one thing, it would be add GPS. But I know that takes away from battery consumption and increases the price, so I'm happy with what I have

Great gift for a galaxy owner. Got it from my mother for her birthday and she really enjoys it. easy to use and keeps track of steps in shows notifications. Easy watch to figure out for people that are not too tech savvy and the app is easy to use on the phone to change the settings on the watch.

Like the features. The gear fit is easy to use and seems pretty durable so far. The heart rate monitor works well and seems accurate. I checked it with another device and the numbers were consistent. It's also easy to update the profile. I don't use the exercise function very often. I use an old NordicTrack and the Gear Fit does not register the activity very well on that type of equipment. The wrist band could be more secure. I have caught the flap of the wrist band on edges of things and the Gear Fit has come loose. One time it actually fell off at the house and I didn't realize it for about an hour.
