The watch is amazing. Very easy to use and always alerts me right away when I get important emails and phone calls. Not only does it keep me in the loop with whats going on through the phone, it's very clear on my health progress.

    Broken screen on week 3

So while I do like this watch. I'm pretty unhappy with the fact that I looked down the other day to check it and saw that the screen had a diagonal crack in it. I don't recall whacking my arm off of anything I certainly didn't drop it or anything like that. I'm not sure that a screen protector would have helped but I would strongly urge you to at least try if you are buying one of these. The cost of replacing the screen seems to be more than it's worth so I'm going to get a screen protector and put it on now to hopefully hold it together and keep it from breaking more. The other things that I don't like about it or that it does not keep accurate count of stair flights climbed. I have a mean set of stairs at work and sometimes it registers them and sometimes it doesn't. It's frustrating when you've climbed 10 flights of stairs and it gives you credit for 3. Also sometimes the step counter seems frozen. It will say I havent increased my steps when I've walked at least 20 + more. The battery only lasts about 24-30 hrs..not that good compared to a fitbit. The heart rate function does seem to be fairly accurate. Overall I wouldn't buy it again because it just seems to be too delicate, plus it's kind of bulky and not as attractive as some of the other watches out there.

I love that I can get texts and reply to them from the watch, and see my phone calls. I bought an aquarium live background and just love it. It has gps and heart rate. I can track my walking and even how many floors I've climbed.

Great product for realistic expectations. I did the research and learned about it and other fit bit type products before landing on the Gear Fit 2. It tells time accurately with the built in Bluetooth. I love the sleep tracker, and it gives you the breakdown of motionless, light & restless sleep. It tracks my bike rides and walks and I can leave the cell phone at home. Read the reviews and do the research, I wanted a watch with a few bells and whistles and I love it. Practical item with added purpose. Also should mention, I don't wear mine in the shower as a precaution, nor do I swim with it. It's water resistant...not water proof. As for sweat, I've always wiped down my watch after a work out, I do the same with the Gear Fit 2. No problems.

Main reason for buying this was to check my heart rate throughout the day as well as get message and missed call notifications while at work. I like being able to reply (with preset short messages) to text from the watch.

I purchased this because of the message notification capability since I could not have my phone out at work, and because it keeps track of steps and floors and all the usual fitness tracker things without having to try to stuff my phone into a pocket where it will register everything. It works exactly as intended, the message notifications are subtle and easy to read and reply to, and the battery life is fantastic. The wristband can get sweaty but fortunately it doesn't soak in. It even alerts you when you get too far away from your phone, which is great for someone like me who leaves her phone in the car a lot.

This watch is wonderful. I use this more than I ever used a fitbit. The interface is easy to use and so user friendly. The only complaint that I have is that the battery doesn't last very long. Other than that, I love it.

This device replaces my Microsoft Band 2 which was far more robust of an accurate fitness tracker. This is a terrible heart rate monitor, wretched flight counter, doesn't track spontaneous workouts worth a hill of beans, but a few weeks ago it did start doing very basic sleep tracking. The pedometer function kinda works, the work out reports from the app are awful, and I really hope Samsung's partnership with Under Armour brings about a revolution in these devices. As a smart watch it does all that you'd expect - tells you about incoming calls, messages, emails, other push notifications from your phone, and allows you to control any of several music players from it's touch screen. The screen is pretty enough, the strap is far superior to the MS device which split and fell apart within 3 months of daily wear, and the battery life is decent. I use all the bells and whistles including GPS, Auto HR, and use a custom screen and the battery charge lasts two and a half to three days. I do find that it disconnects from my phone quite frequently for no reason but Samsung did just sent out a series of crash-inspiring updates to my phone trying to phase it out, so that may not be the Gear Fit's fault.

So far I find it ok, having had its predecessor. I'll Pro/Con it below: Pro: -more comfortable than the Gear Fit 1 -much quicker responsiveness than its predecessor when pressing options -the motion trigger to turn the watch face on seems accurate -compatible and working with Nexus 6p (good sign that it works with other Android phones with Android 4.4 and after as they claim) -quick setup but the navigation is harder to grasp than the Gear Fit 1 (at least to me) -improved heart rate monitor allows intermittent testing (something tantamount to every hour) Con: -no obvious way to turn the screen off after it triggers on (you have to wait until it fades to off at one of the preset intervals) -the watch faces look ugly and there aren't that many to choose from -the stair counter isn't very accurate -why have and claim mp3 player for this when all it is is really a small flash drive seeing as how it has no speaker unto itself or headphone jack to issue any music -The initial declines in the battery make me doubt the battery life claims (it loses %s to fast) -Notifications are not displayed well (very easy to accidentally block the app which sent the message when you in fact only wanted to close the notification or reply) I'll conclude by saying the like the idea of this Gear Fit product as I did its predecessor but I'd pay more for better. I tried Moto 360 and others and didn't like them. I wish Samsung would stop restricting the better Gear products and allow them to work with non-Samsung phones. I guess I could just buy into Samsung's phone lines but I don't want to.

I really like this smart watch/sports tracker. It really has everything that most people would want. Only two issues that I see that could use improvement, but would not stop me for purchasing this product again. 1) the strap sometimes comes undone and may fall off your wrist if you don't notice (could damage/scratch you device) and 2) the battery only will last about 1.5-2 days. Both these issues could use fixing, but otherwise this device is the best I have seen or used. I know some people complain that it does not do continuous heart monitoring, but I have no need for that.

After purchasing and using the I Fit charge2.for about 2 weeks I was unhappy with it so returned it and purchased this Samsung Gear fit2. I do like this better. It's convenient being able to reply with a message to a call or text. But be aware it definitely drains the battery. I do have to charge it every night. The bad thing about that is I can't have it ever moniter my sleep habits, which was one of the things I was looking forward to. I haven't figured out the water intake and caloric intake yet

Originally bought him a FitBit, but it was too large for his wrist, did not do nearly as much, and was more expensive. The Samsung Gear Fit 2 is excellent value and a wonderful, interesting track for all!
