You'd never thought you'd need an 'accessory' to your smartphone, but once you get your hands onto this, there's no going back! I barely take out my phone now. However I do wish if the battery would last longer... meh! Gear Live 2?

Love the watch couldn't believe a reviewer compared it to the G-watch and actually stated and I Quote "The G-watch screen is better in sun light and has a better looking display in always on mode" The guy is obviously not realizing that the Amoled display reduces the number of simultaneously lit pixels and this is an attribute of the display technology and it does a great job of saving necessary battery life instead of a backlit LCD which is inefficient. Had the watch for like 2 quarters now and I can't leave home without it. This watch keeps me connected like nobodies business and I had to write this review especially after reading all these negative reviews on my tablet I almost dropped it from the anger. I can't believe the samsung haters are testifying the I watch is better. Dont be fooled get your moneys worth Samsung for life out.

This smartwatch is very dependable with a long battery life. It comes with lots of watchfaces and the notifications mean I never miss an important call.
The watch band is not so great though. Replaced it with a 22mm metal band. I love this watch!

I love this Smart Watch, how you can get notifications and make phone calls from your watch. The only thing I don't like is that the heart rate monitor doesn't work very well.

i bought this to replace my galaxy gear 1. it took some time getting used to. i really wanted this over the first generation because i didn't have the need for a camera on my watch and the watch seems to integrate better with my note 3. the screen quality is excellent and the watch syncs with the phone really well. the "ok google" feature is reliable and i used it very frequently. the only thing that would make this better is if the google play store had more free smart watch apps.

I started with the LG G Watch which was comfortable but had very blah looks, so I returned it for the Gear Live! I am happy I did. The Gear Live is comfortable, has a great battery life, a Super Amoled display, and looks great for a piece of tech on your arm. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a combination timepiece/way to quickly read and respond to notifications. The battery lasts over a day, just be careful with the clip on charger. There is a heart rate monitor, and 4GB of storage to install all your favorite apps. Samsung has made smartwatches for a while and for one of the first Android Wear watches Samsung did a great job.

Great build quality. Design a little lackluster compared to Moto360 or LG G Watch R. Charger is poorly designed. Much better than Samsung Gear powered by Tizen, since watch is supported by Google Andriod. Battery can last 2 days with moderate use.

I primarily bought this smart watch as a gift for my wife. She did not always have the phone on her, so now she never misses any important calls, even if the phone is on mute. She receives all important notifications, and loves a new watch face everyday. Now she is more connected than ever before and it looks quite sleek. She really likes it a lot.

I had some gift card money and cuffed up the rest cause I was really interested in trying this Android wearable out. It's been a few months and it has become a utility everyday I wear it cause I get all my notices emails text calls, commute time, GPS. This thing makes life simpler not the other way around uncomplicate your mobile device.

This watch has become my son's favorite watch! Although he has many watches, this became his favorite from day one! He is a busy salesman but can easily see what texts and emails are coming through and decide on how to prioritize his time. Stylish, instant cool points...great gift for twenty-somethings!

It's a great watch overall. You will have all the faces you want in one watch. Works well with your cell phone, you'll get email, calls, texts notifications, and send voice texts among other things. My husband is enjoying his watch very much!!

I previously owned a Galaxy Gear 2 Neo and while it was nice, I was skeptical of the amount of support Tizen would receive from developers, so I wanted to switch to an Android Wear watch instead. The Gear Live is the perfect balance of looks, features, and price for me. The stock band is pretty plain but can be swapped out for a stainless steel 22mm watch band which immensely improves the look of the watch. The only real drawback is the charging cradle that is cumbersome to get in place at times.

The Gear Live is excellent! Push notifications are extremely helpful when I'm driving or out and about with my hands full. Voice recognition is very good- I can text, send emails, or make a call with great reliability. Watch faces are beautiful and unique. It's an eyecatching time piece as well. Highly recommend it.

I bought the device knowing that if it didn't make a difference in my routine I would return it.
Needless to say, it's not going to be returned. I'm loving the experience of using this watch. I spend a lot less time now meandering around my phone after getting sucked into a rabbit hole from checking messages.
Now I can check and respond to notifications on the watch, and only venture to the phone if needed.
Battery life has been fine. The watch will easily last the entire day (from 5 AM to 11 PM, and still at 40%).
If you're a runner who uses your phone to track your running, you'll appreciate apps such as RunKeeper which will broadcast live stats to the watch and also allow you to pause and resume tracking straight from the device.

It is a wonderful way to quickly see the notifications on your phone and if you are using Google Now (and let's be real, if you own and Android device you really should be) then the cards will automatically show up giving you useful information like travel time to work or home, and other Google now info. How nice and convenient is that!?
