Best accessory that you'd never thought you'd need
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You'd never thought you'd need an 'accessory' to your smartphone, but once you get your hands onto this, there's no going back! I barely take out my phone now. However I do wish if the battery would last longer... meh! Gear Live 2?

Great Watch!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This smartwatch is very dependable with a long battery life. It comes with lots of watchfaces and the notifications mean I never miss an important call. The watch band is not so great though. Replaced it with a 22mm metal band. I love this watch!

My second Android Wear and I love it.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I started with the LG G Watch which was comfortable but had very blah looks, so I returned it for the Gear Live! I am happy I did. The Gear Live is comfortable, has a great battery life, a Super Amoled display, and looks great for a piece of tech on your arm. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a combination timepiece/way to quickly read and respond to notifications. The battery lasts over a day, just be careful with the clip on charger. There is a heart rate monitor, and 4GB of storage to install all your favorite apps. Samsung has made smartwatches for a while and for one of the first Android Wear watches Samsung did a great job.

Amazing smartwatch the reviewers gave it no justic
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love the watch couldn't believe a reviewer compared it to the G-watch and actually stated and I Quote "The G-watch screen is better in sun light and has a better looking display in always on mode" The guy is obviously not realizing that the Amoled display reduces the number of simultaneously lit pixels and this is an attribute of the display technology and it does a great job of saving necessary battery life instead of a backlit LCD which is inefficient. Had the watch for like 2 quarters now and I can't leave home without it. This watch keeps me connected like nobodies business and I had to write this review especially after reading all these negative reviews on my tablet I almost dropped it from the anger. I can't believe the samsung haters are testifying the I watch is better. Dont be fooled get your moneys worth Samsung for life out.

first generation
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.-PROS: -comfortable -looks great on the wrist -CONS: -WAY over priced for what it offers -Limited functionality/apps -Seems redundant when my phone is always within reach, and does the few things this watch does, albeit much better

Great Technology
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Gear Live is excellent! Push notifications are extremely helpful when I'm driving or out and about with my hands full. Voice recognition is very good- I can text, send emails, or make a call with great reliability. Watch faces are beautiful and unique. It's an eyecatching time piece as well. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic Gadget
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought the device knowing that if it didn't make a difference in my routine I would return it. Needless to say, it's not going to be returned. I'm loving the experience of using this watch. I spend a lot less time now meandering around my phone after getting sucked into a rabbit hole from checking messages. Now I can check and respond to notifications on the watch, and only venture to the phone if needed. Battery life has been fine. The watch will easily last the entire day (from 5 AM to 11 PM, and still at 40%). If you're a runner who uses your phone to track your running, you'll appreciate apps such as RunKeeper which will broadcast live stats to the watch and also allow you to pause and resume tracking straight from the device.

Simple and nice way to interact with Android.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It is a wonderful way to quickly see the notifications on your phone and if you are using Google Now (and let's be real, if you own and Android device you really should be) then the cards will automatically show up giving you useful information like travel time to work or home, and other Google now info. How nice and convenient is that!?

Q: Questiongear live vs. gear 1 or 2I would like to know what are the pros and cons of the GEAR LIVE compared to the GEAR 1 and 2?
Asked by Doreen.
- A:Answer there is a HUGE difference, 1) Gear live uses google brand new android wear Operating system. While gear 1 or 2 uses samsungs Tizen OS. 2) Gear live would be supported for much longer since google pushes out updates to its software while samsung would likely not push out alot to the gear live. 3) The gear live (and any other android wear devices) are based around google's voice command system) EX: you can ask the watch almost any question and it would respond almost instantly. If you are looking to get the gear live be understanding that the gear live and the lg g watch are only the first android wear smartwatches that came out. Some amazing things are in the works such as the Moto 360! round smartwatch and many more to come. ps. I just ordered the gear live. { ; anymore questions feel free to ask me

Q: QuestionWhen will this be available in stores?I know the lg g watch is now out in Best Buys, but does anyone know when Best Buy is suppose to finally have the gear live in stock, in stores? thanks
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Originally the Web said 27. Then they were to be in Stock in stores on the 24th. Then pre orders were said to be the 28th. I pre ordered mine on the 12th and spoke with bestbuy today because my order status changed and was told that they are now on back order. Hopefully it's because Samsung is changing their stock due to a bad design on the charger causing them to break easily and rendering the watch Un - chargeable. This was discovered on a majority of the units handed out at Google IO.
