Despite being a refurb product, this 860 EVO is working great in my laptop. The SSD had .5TB written on it when I first started using it, and so far, no problems. Got this 500GB for $65.

Getting one of the top SSDs for just over $50 is amazing. Very happy with the significant speed improvement. This is the single best upgrade you can do if your PC is too slow.

Solid drive. Just a little outdated and should be priced lower to remain competitive. I have bought 4 of these and used them mainly for secondary drive or storage. I have moved on to NVME's and those are not much more expensive.

Came out of the box...performed a disk clone of existing HD Drive...SSD booted right up working fine since....WIN 7 boots up in 18 seconds now...versus almost 3 minutes previously!

I purchased this refurbished SSD on a whim hoping it would work and was not disappointed. The product came in its original box and worked like a charm.

Basically brand new when I received. Could tell it was used once but no cosmetic damage. Samsung wizard software showed it was in good health and barely used.

Used the Samsung software to clone my old drive to this SSD and my old computer runs better than when it was new. Faster, quieter. What's not to like?

I've purchased this item 3 or 4 times now, and every previous time, the SSD was in mint condition. Not this time. I ordered it for store pickup. When it came in, I stopped at the counter to have them grab it for me from the back, and when he brought it to me, I commented on how beat up the box looked. It seriously looked like someone stepped on it, and then threw it against the wall a few times. I didn't bother to open the box in the store, since I figured it was just "refurbished" because of how beat up the box was. But then I got home and opened it up, and man, it looks like someone took a hammer to the drive. I thought about returning it and just getting something else, but I figured I'd at least plug it in to see if it works. If the guts inside are intact, then I don't really care if the case itself is in rough shape. I was actually pretty surprised to see that the drive did actually work, and I was able to use it to clone an Xbox One drive onto it, and it works perfectly. I would give it 1* if this didn't work, or 5* if it didn't look like someone smashed the crap out of it, but I feel like 2* is a good compromise. When people buy refurbished, they typically assume that it will be in good condition, not damaged condition.

Great SSD Drive at an excellent price.. even combined with purchasing the extended service warranty is less than new.. so Im covered even if there is a problem.
