I bought a refurbished model at low price. I would not pay full price. I see it more as a novelty item. It counts steps and does pick up texts, which is handy. The sleep feature is not accurate. The battery lasts 2 1/12 days of 12 hour day use. There are a lot of features. There are other non-samsung apps to control it, but i found they didnt work well.

Bought the Gear Fit for my stepdaughter as a refurb and was pleasantly surprised. gave it 4 stars just because of the limitations due to requiring a Samsung galaxy device for full functionality. 1. Arrived in a generic box well packed and protected with all original accessories except for the OEM instruction booklet (which usually ends up getting tossed or lost anyways, not a big deal they are readily downloadable) 2. Synced right up to an old Galaxy S4 we had (for all device functions to work S Health and Samsung Gear Manager is needed which is exclusive to Samsung Galaxy devices) 3. Lasts her around 4 days on a single charge, mind that she does not keep the phone with her all day so it is not constantly syncing via bluetooth but it does record all activity that is manageable via the watch's interface (Sleep, pedometer, workouts, etc.) 4. Before i bouth it I was advised that it only keeps track of about 24 hours worth of activity, not so, she has been away from the phone for 4 days and when she was back in range it synced all recorded activity from the time it was last connected . 5. The default layout for the display is horizontal, with the current OS update on the phone the interface layout can be modified to work vertically (Settings->Display->Rotate Screen->Vertical) which makes it much easier to use and view 6. There are third party apps that allow you to use this device on non-Samsung devices, OpenFit will allow you to sync the data to Google Fit and a few other fitness tracker apps although you do lose some functionality. 7. Overall, for what we use it for this thing is great especially if you are an Android user looking for a nice looking fitness tracker

Comfortable to wear and looks good. Seems to be holding up very well. Charge lasts about two days depending on the notifications you have set. With the app on your phone, you can get text, calls and email notifications. Which makes it more like a smart watch, not just a fitness tracker.

This is a slim smart watch with fitness tracker. It's a little bulky to wear to bed for sleep tracking. Battery lasts a couple days with average daily use.

Works great with note 3 and galaxy s4. Very little power drain on phone, lots of customization. Battery drain on watch noticeable with bright background, but that's pretty straightforward. I really like the black background with neon watch numbers anyway so I was getting over 3 days battery life. Pretty accurate with the pedometer and heart rate monitor, but I have hairy arms so I couldn't do it without flipping the watch around to my bottom of my wrist. Can access notifications for tons of applications and media playback from the watch was super convenient. Both people I bought it for were super happy to get them.

Had my Gear Fit on for a just about a week and was loving it! Synced well to the phone, good battery life, fit well, and sharp looking. Unfortunately Best Buy does not price match guarantee their OWN product and when it went on sale 10 days after purchase I had to return it and order another one online! Absolutely senseless. SAME EXACT ONE! Going crazy without it and can't wait for it to come back in.

This smart watch gives you just enough info ie who's calling, who's texting, The heart rate is good and accurate. step function is one of the best features since it monitors all of my steps it's always on my person and my smart phone may not be. I charge it twice a week.

The Samsung Gear Fitness Watch is wonderful. Connection to my Galaxy S5 is fast and easy via Bluetooth. The battery lasts 2-5 days depending on bluetooth usage. The fitness tracking is great. I love the connection with the cellphone for a bike ride. The phone GPS is GREAT for distance, vertical climb/descent, even the weather. Best part was the price because it was refurbished!

Used but in perfect condition! Battery working good, a lot of apps and options! and the Heart Rate is very helpful! Very recommended!

It's very functional and I only have to charge it once every 4 days. This wearable is working well for me, especially with monitoring my sleep pattern.

This watch is amazing. The best part is the ability to see your calls or texts and make limited replies. It pairs well with my android phone and has done a pretty good job of counting steps and allowing input of other exercises. It even has a stop watch. The battery lasts a day and a half to two days with continuous use before it needs to be charged. Great buy. The watch was exactly what I wanted for the price.

Love everything about it!! It's a watch as well as a fitness instrument! I can go 3 days without having to re-charge it. Love it!

The refurbished price for this product puts it in a superior category compared to all other fitness bands. It has all the features that the $150 fitness bands have plus an outstanding touch screen display. All that and it maintains great battery life considering all the features.

Does Everything I wanted it to do plus more. Keeps battery life more than my research beforehand told me it would. First "refurbished" item I ever bought and I was impressed.

This watch had lasted me almost a year and has held up very well. I haven't been easy on it, wearing it swimming and while playing sports. I even stepped on it once, and it works just fine! Battery life is about 3 days, just long enough to not worry about it as it only takes around an hour to fully charge again.

I wanted to get him a smart watch for his birthday. This one was a reconditioned one for half the price through the Geek Squad. He lover it. Battery life lasts for 2 days before recharging.

Battery is good, it seems to me that the step counter is not entirely as accurate as I thought. Other than that's my wife loves it...
