I was eyeing the Samsung fit band to go with my new S6 Edge when i came across it on the Deal of the Day where it was on sale, both New and "Certified Refurbished". Since I have purchased Certified Refurbished from other stores with much success, i decided to pull the trigger. I received my "Certified Refurbished" Samsung Fit band about a week before the expected arrival date on my order which i was happy with. But, I was extremely disappointed in the product once i opened the box. The bezel of the screen was extremely chipped, beyond anything i have ever seen on a "Certified Refurbished" product. Also, the band was clearly not cleaned from the previous owner, there was dead skin and other residue on every part of it from the clasp holes to the frame around the display. It reminds me of something i would have bought from a stranger on Craigslist, and even then, it would have probably been cleaner. I went into the local store to try and get an exchange and was also met with disappointment. The customer service showed little remorse and could not replace it since the item was online only. I was only able to get a refund and was sent on my way.

Let me start out by saying that I am a big fan of Samsung products! My refrigerator, TVs and home entertainment systems are all Samsung! I was disappointed with this product! I checked the reviews and did not see any information that informed you that this product was not compatible with all android systems. After purchasing this item I found out after trying to download the mobile application that this item was not compatible with my Motorola Droid Turbo 2 and it would only work with Samsung smart phones. Had I been aware of this, I would have looked at other options for a fitness sports watch. I would only recommend this product if you have a Samsung smart phone,because it appears to be a great product!

I ordered a refurbished version of this product. I received the item on May 25th. I really liked the product and it seems to function very well. It did everything that I expected it to do. Well, I went to bed with it on set on the sleep tracking mode and when I woke up the screen did not. Completely blank, can't see a thing. Not very helpful. I seemed to still be working, keep sending data to my phone. Then later it disconnected and will not connect to my phone. I guess it's totally dead now. But I can't be certain, because I can't see anything on the screen. Guess I should have spent the extra money and purchases a new one. Taking if to Best Buy tomorrow. I guess I will see how much of a hassle this is going to be. Really disappointed

The only thing worse than this item was Best Buy's Customer Service. Even though the product never worked, Best Buy would only allow me 14 days to return it. So I am stuck with a horrible product from an even worse retailer (Best Buy)! Best Buy Customers, BEWARE!!!!!

It was not clear to me when I purchased this that it would not work with Apple devices. I ended up returning it. On the surface it had all of the function that I was looking for at a good price.

I purchased this without realizing that it didn't work with Apple products. I read the reviews after purchase and they were not good at all. I returned the Gear Fit.

I'm not sure if it was because of Refurbished bracelet or not but I was told It would not keep track of steps properly. I purchase this as a birthday gift for mother & both we're advise by another geek squad dept. (Different State) to return item.

This open box watch ( heart rate monitor function ) didn't work and I had to return it.

The best thing about this product was the packaging. It came without a word of instruction. From what I could gather from searching on line, it needed another piece in order to plug into the computer to make it work or keep track of data. I am not terribly tech savvy, I'll admit, but I couldn't get past turning it on and charging it. Gave up in frustration and took it back to the store.

Geek Live Chat promised use without needing smart phone, but on receiving it I found there was no was to use it without one.

Purchased this device for my personal use and was disappointed to find that it was not compatible with my smart phone and unfortunately the description did not mention that it was only compatible with certain smart phones, namely Samsung, which I did not own.

This was to bulky to want to wear considering there are much slender options out there.

I could not get it to sync with my phone, tried about 4 times and finally took it back.

Never again will buy refurbished products as it only lasted like a month and a half. At first ot would not properly charge and then would turn off and on until it didn't start anymore.

I will never buy another refurbished product again. Bad experience. I returned this item and upgraded to the Samsung Gear2.

I was very excited to get this and it WAS NOT a real referbishment!

It sucked, I felt it looked cheap sent it back the same day.

Bought one for my wife about a year ago. Was a disaster. Took it back to BestBuy and the Samsung people in there a couple of times. They fiddled with it and gave a little advice. Finally after we couldn't refund it they told us that it had to be a certain model Samsung phone that it would work with. Thanks guys and galls, you did a great job playing us along until it was too late for us. Well someone else told us about an after market app with which it would work somewhat with any android device. So my wife got by with it until if just flat quit, died, broke, wouldn't charge, light up, nothing. It wasn't a year old. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy. Soured me on the integrity of both BestBuy and Samsung.

This watch worked extremely well until last weekend. It just stopped working - so I charged it and when it did boot, it got stuck in a reboot cycle which kills the battery pretty quickly. I contacted Best Buy and they offered no help. I bought the watch from BestBuy as a refurbished unit online - and the website did not offer a replacement plan. So now the watch is barely 6 months old and it's a total loss. BestBuy needs to improve their customer warranty policies or I will stop shopping with them. This sucks.

I was able to hook it to my phone easily, but as I wore it and paid attention to my steps I realized because I don't swing my arms a lot while walking it only recorded a third to half of my steps. I wanted a fitness tracker so I can make sure I keep my activity level up. I bought this so I wouldn't have to keep my phone in my back pocket all the time, but if it's not going to really track all my steps it wasn't worth spending the money on it. I was really disappointed.
