Great if you have the right tablet or phone.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked what I was able to have it do but I couldn't download anything to my Galaxy 10 tablet because the Tablet wasn't the newer version. The only reason I was able to do anything was because a salesperson turned it on using his cell phone. I reluctantly returned it because I am not about to buy a new tablet or cell phone that would work with the Gear Fit. If a person has the right cell phone or tablet I would recommended that they buy the Gear Fit.

Good enough at some tasks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The key to appreciating the GearFit is adjusting one's expectations. It tells time well, syncs easily and is great at notifying when messages and calls arrive, and from whom. I have found it to be an excellent runner's companion, though it's a little hard to get the button just right at the end. I've had the watch randomly search for my phone, causing it to ring without need and it once randomly turned on my music player without being asked. But it's possible I did something without realizing it, because there's been no repeat. I had one day where the battery drained before 10 a.m., but again no repeat so may e I didn't charge it properly. There's probably a LOT more available than the basic functions i'm using, and S Health is, frankly, a pain. You CAN wear it in the shower, but I don't recommend it. Overall, not worth nearly $150 but it's easily with half that, which it's what I paid.

Great for notifications
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This fitness watch has a great look. I love getting the notifications but wish it had better fitness abilities like always on heart rate monitor and other exercise types from walking, running and bike riding.

ok for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this item to see how it was. Ends up, it was not as great as it seemed it would be. The bluetooth keeps cutting out and every few weeks, it wouldn't transfer data to my phone. Right at 1 month after purchase, it stopped working. I finally got it to at least read the pedometer for me.

only sort of useful, no problems with refurbished
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First of all, I would never have bought this product if it had not been refurbished and on sale. Simply because I do not NEED a smart watch or a fitness tracker, and much less a combination of the two. But I thought it would be a nice gadget to by myself. I am generally satisfied with my purchase. The refurbished model came working as good as new. I enjoy the sleep tracking, which seems fairly accurate, and the call notification is useful while I'm working or driving. The display and notification system are sleek and the vibration alert at a good intensity. However, as far as fitness tracking goes, the heart rate monitor is finicky, especially after working out and getting sweaty. The step counter is wildly off. Though the Gear Fit is designed (presumably) to utilize the S Health app, I believe my Samsung S5 is better at both heart rate and step counting. Recommended for those who want a sleek, relatively inexpensive alternative to a smart watch, and for those who want to track their sleep.

Good product for the price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As with all new technology, it does not live up to the hype. But does perform as advertised. This is actually the second one I purchased for my wife, the first was stolen. So, it's obviously wanted by people and worth the price since I bought it twice.

Samsung let me down
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Be sure to read the "short list" of Samsung devices that are comparable with the Gear Fit! We didn't and return it for a Fit Bit. The Fit Bit app works with our Samsung tablet and ISO device operating systems.

Good but missing a few details.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So as a smart device this thing is pretty good. The screen is very bright and resolution is great. Speed is excellent, media controls and notifications are great. My issue is with the heat rate monitor and fitness tracking. The heart rate monitor can only check when you're standing still not during a workout and is only a one time reading. I was hoping it could monitor heart rates throughout a workout but sadly I was mistaken. Also it works well with S Health but still doesn't track all that much, just running and walking really.

Great product needs recharging almost daily
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. One of the neat features of my Samsung phone is hands free mode. The watch allows me to answer phone calls using the watch but there is still a level of distraction. The heart rate monitor is not constant. It must be manually started unless the watch is in exercise mode. The sleep monitoring has to be manually started and stopped. SS does make devices that overcome these issues for more $. Great device though.

Definitely should have read the reviews
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It had everything I wanted in a fitness watch except for one thing. It couldn't be used alone you had to have Samsung phone to go with it and I don't have one. I do feel the ad itself should have stated this upfront. I was really disappointed because it had so many cool things about it.

Great features, but. . .
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I loved the features on the Gear Fit Watch and how it synced with my Android phone. Having visual access to fitness tracking was great. However, I had to return it after less than a month because the button to activate the display stopped working. It may have been a flaw in that particular unit, and I may purchase another one.

OK but not for me
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I liked the reviews of this fitness watch and checked with BB about using my Android devices before buying. The watch itself is great, a perfect range of tracking info, and light and easy to read, at the usual great BB price. But sadly I could not sync my Android devices so I had to return it.

Doing it's duty
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like this device to connect with Samsung device. It is doing pretty good job. But it won't connect with Apple. If this connect with apple device it will be best device..

Okay
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the fact that the band measures fitness metrics like steps, heart rate and sleep. You can also set it up to notify you of emails, texts, etc. This is nice once you determine the notifications you really want to receive. What I don't like is its hit or miss capabilities while exercising. Overall it's okay.
