good refurbished deal. on my iphone 15 pro max, write speed test number is close to those from macbook pro, read speed is bit slower

I really like this SSD, runs fast and looks good. Ifs perfect for PS4 gaming and a lot more cost efficient compared to the “gaming SSDs”

Bought 2 - Returned 2 Both drives didn’t work. Tried on multiple computers with multiple cables (On the positive side - Returning them to my local Best Buy was very easy)

The drive I received was 100% like new. That included the drive itself, 2 cables, and the packaging. I appreciate the $50 savings over new. Note the drive needed to be initialized before it was recognized by my computer. Download Samsung Magician software to do this, as it has a lot of other features to support this drive. To initialize the drive, you will need to choose a format and partition the drive before it will show up for use. This is likely the source of many of the negative reviews here. I also updated the firmware right away. My drive showed a total of 1.8TB of data having been written when I received it, which is the actual capacity. This is probably because Best Buy wiped the drive before re-sale. Samsung Magician can also test the drive, benchmark it, confirm it is genuine, track total data write history, and monitor the working temperature, among other features.

Great, small & fast. I couldn’t get it to be recognized by my windows computer til I hooked it up to my tablet & reformatted it. Then my computer recognized it & I reformatted it like my regular ssd. They really need to fix that. Just for that I knocked 2 stars for that mess. But runs great & super fast now. Smh

Very easy to use and straightforward, no issues using it at all.

Software is broken. Windows glitches. I do not suggest using this or the T5 for a storage space on windows pc's because once I did it and afterwards my pc would not connect to them... (hard resets might fix this issue but it did not work on my pc). If you want this SSD for an android device then go for it!!!

Works well and is durable. I like the design and color. Easy to see and tough enough for my travel.

Excellent purchase for my needs - I'm a videographer that needs to capture long events - the Samsung t7 shield has been my go-to for a while now, and it has always given me the ability shoot video and directly edit the project on the drive.

When I got this as a used item, I knew something doesn't really adding up. So, I decided to check it out and I was right. The data is still inside there, but it wasn't been removed after the previous owner returned this item. I flushed all of the data from it, and everything works like it was all new.

I got the 2tb storage which gives me a lot of room to save important files lile photos and videos. You can add password on it for additional security.

Works perfectly after initial format, very fast and compact.

It is an excellent partner for all situation. It's easy to use and very fast.
