The 230 total watts is used effectively. Paired with the hw-9500S rears, the production and soundscape is incredible. I world definitely recommend.

It was paired with the Samsung QN65S90D and it utilizes the rear tv speakers for additional depth. Dialogue is clear and I am impressed with it's music capabilities.

If you are looking for more discrete sounds, you gotta' spend the bucks. I have watched movies, concerts and played games and it is a great system. Slim sound bar provides surprising depth of sounds.

I DIDNT THINK IT WAS NECESSARY TO PURCHASE MY SPOUSE CONNECTED THE TV WITHOUT THE SUBWOOFER AND I SAID IT SOUNDS GOOD BUT WHEN HE ADDED THE SOUNDBAR AND SUBWOOFER IT SOUNDED EXCELLENT.

This Samsung ultra slim soundbar is amazing!! It has completely transformed our great room!

Clear and crisp sound, vibrating and deep bass provided me with a superb listening experience. I am new to this kind of devices but was pleasantly surprised and look forward to many hours of good listening.

However, the speakers are quite small and in a large room it’s hardly better than the TV speaker itself. Unfortunately I’m no longer able to return it due to timing otherwise I would’ve returned it.

To take full advantage of your new soundbar, download the SmartThings App to your smart device. This will allow you to control your soundbar as you would with the provided remote, but with the added advantage of seeing what changes you make on your device.
To optimize your audio experience, please try the various sound modes this model offers. Press the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select your desired sound effect: ADAPTIVE SOUND, DTS VIRTUAL:X, MUSIC, GAME, STANDARD. When you press the SOUND MODE button it will change to the different modes in the above order.
You can further adjust TREBLE and BASS via the TONE CONTROL button.
Also, you can add the SWA-9500S Rear Speaker Kit to create a multi-channel system for a true surround sound experience.
