My old dishwasher sprung a leak and it was time to shop for a new dishwasher. For some reason, this dishwasher caught my eye. I read a lot of positive reviews, so I thought I'd take a chance. Holy smokes!! Are you sure this is a dishwasher or a robot? The stainless steel finish is stunning and I like the fact that the controls to operate are hidden. When you turn this on and walk away, you wonder if it's even on. I love the fact that the last 10mins of the wash cycle, the door pops open to air dry. When done, a musical tune lets you know the wash is done. I'm impressed that the dishes are at room temp and are dry, so you're able to put away them away without waiting for the cool down. I highly recommend.

Matching appliances Samsung, and no finger prints is what we where going for, Plus it works real nice.

When it works it works. This is the second same model dishwasher we bought in our extended family. Suffice it to say that an average load of pots, dishes, glassware, silverware and utensils comes out clean in 60 minutes. Other washing cycles, from delicate to heavier duty are available. I would have given it five stars if the plastic ware came out dry using the 60 minute cycle. To achieve that a heated dry cycle can be selected. This machine must be installed carefully as a level setting off by only one degree will stall operation. This is meant to avoid leakage. The machine will let you know when it needs cleaning. A cleaning cycle is provided. A double screen system protects the drainage system from being obstructed. Removing the filters for cleaning us as easy as twisting the cap of a bottle. Installation requirements are comparable to the requirements of dishwasher by other makers. My wife is very happy with the new dishwasher because it is fast and gets the job done very quietly.

This dishwasher is so quiet it's hard to believe it's even on. Love it has 3 racks and pops open when done. Comes out clean every time and can fit so many dishes at one time. So happy I got it and worth the price!

The dishwasher is super quiet the only way I can hear it is to get right next to it. There is a blue light that comes on be the handle while it is running so you know it is going. The door pops up to crack it once the drying is going to help dry seems to work really well since I don't have to use mush jet dry for drying. The wash seems to work well the 3rd rack is helpful but don't put anything really dirty up there because it might not get completely cleaned.

I was little concerned about open-door dry since nobody around me has or knows about it. But actually it works great!! I bought $800 BOSH dishwasher in 2016, and didn't bring that with me when I moved out, because I hated strong chemical smell that comes from dish after drying. I had to add rinse aid or it would not dry. For SAMSUNG dishwasher, I tried it without rinse aid, and it works great!! Dish comes completely dry and does not have any bad odor. I gave it 4 out of 5 because, I do not like how the racks are arranged. I mostly use small plates and bowls, and they don't fit well on the middle rack. The utensil rack is not as convenient as it looks. If you hate the chemical odor from rinse aid and want your dishes to come out dry, this is the one.

This dishwasher is a miracle. It is so quiet that you don't realize it's on. My dishes come out so clean. Having a 3rd rack is awesome. I don't know how I did it before. The black stainless steel is easier to clean than regular stainless steel.

I had certain must haves in my dishwasher search. This one had all those and then some! I love that the door opens at the end of the cycle to dry better. I also wanted a 3rd rack for larger utensils. I love that it cleans well and is very quiet. The blue light shining on the floor when it is on, and the ability to start the dishwasher with an app are just cool, fun features.

I’ve had this dishwasher for over a month and it is replacing a Bosch. It’s quiet. I had a quiet Bosh and this dishwasher puts it to shame for sure! I don’t think anyone would say this washer is not the most quiet there is. Does is clean dishes? I find this washer to not perform as well as my Bosh when it comes to cleaning. I do not pre-wash my dishes. I do not rinse them. I scrape them well and put in washer, this should be enough for a 2018 dishwasher. I use great detergent. The reason the jury is still out for me is because I think I need to figure out placement and that it will clean better then. You know how it is, “do these bowls get cleaner on the top left or bottom right?” So, I’m still working on that. Now, if you have large dinner plates, they will NOT fit comfy in this dishwasher. I love having the third rack as I use that everyday for odd shaped silverware, measuring cups, etc. but I think this third each took away the height needed for taller dinner plates. All in all, I think this dishwasher is going to be great, as soon as I follow the manufacturers directions. I like to wing it but this washer is not built for that. If you don’t like rules and being told how you have to load this thing to have it work it’s potential magic, you may want to look for a less bossy dishwasher.

After 2 years of ownership, we still really enjoy this dishwasher. It's very quiet, looks great, and does a nice job cleaning the dishes. The racks are easy to load efficiently, however the rolling guides feel a little flimsy when you pull the upper racks out. The wifi connectivity through the Smart Things app is cool, but really has limited practical functionality, other than getting push alerts when a cycle is complete or checking the app to find out how much time is left in the cycle. In terms of fit and function, this is a 5-star appliance. However, we've required 2 service calls, both within the last 6 months, due to (what I believe to be) deficiencies in engineering and manufacturing. The first call was due to failure of the geared motor. Interestingly, this is the ONLY part covered by a 5-year warranty. (All other parts are 1-year warranty.) However, we did have to pay for the labor to have the motor replaced. The second issue was failure of the upper rotor assembly. (The arm that sprays the water above the Flex Rack.) By comparison, our prior dishwasher was a Maytag that came with our house. It was probably 10 years old when we bought the house and we used it for another 10 years. In that time, we had a single minor part break, which we replaced ourselves. Otherwise, it was perfectly reliable and did a great job. For $1,000 I would expect better reliability. But if you don't mind a service call now and then (or if you're reasonably good at DIY repairs), this is a great machine.

Super quiet and efficient. Really like that the door pops open at the end of the cycle to finish drying. Kids love the song it plays at the end to tell us when its done. We are very happy we decided to pay more for the 3rd drawer/shelf as it is perfect for our good knives and smaller items (kid cup parts, straws). So far a fan of Samsung and look forward to purchasing more from their line.

Easy to install with all needed instructions. The dish washer is super quiet and does an excellent job with the dishes.

The dishwasher has the traditional spinning arm to wash the upper rack and utensil tray (3rd rack) and a waterfall bar to wash the lower rack and silverware. Pros - lots of cycle choices including heavy wash and sanitize. Door opens at the end of wash to allow dishes to fully dry. The quietest dishwasher EVER! Cons - does not clean the lower rack adequately even on heavy wash with pre-rinsing. Top utensil tray is worthless as well, items do not come out clean. Placed a service call and dishes still are not getting completely clean. I believe the waterfall technology needs improvement. I'd buy the traditional spinning arm instead.

I bought this to replace the contractor dishwasher in our new home. I had a really good one in our last home, but this one blows that one away. I read a lot of reviews about this dishwasher. It cleans really well and is so quiet. I have no issues with drying. I think a lot of people don't let it finish its full cycle. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

Purchased to replace a 12 year old Kitchen Aid that finally stopped working. We were deciding between this and a Bosch Dishwasher. Ultimately chose this Samsung because we have the Samsung Black Stainless refrigerator. It cleans very well and is quiet during use. However, when the water drains out, it is very loud from drain. Much louder than our previous one. Not sure if this is due to the newer dishwasher having more power? But it isn't a big deal. The cycle times are long, but there is a nice 1 hour quick cycle if needed. It definitely looks good in our kitchen. The only minor complaint is that you cannot see the remaining time on the display unless you look really close, or open the door. The Smart Control app does work, and you can open that to see the time. But it would be better to see it on the dishwasher. No regrets (so far).

This dishwasher has been performing well for last 3 years or so. We really like the automatic opening of the door after the wash as it allows the drying of the dishes better. It started given some issues now where it beeps 3 times but eventually starts the wash cycle. We have not figured out what the issue is yet.

So far so good. We've had this dish washer for 3wks now and i like it. Very quite, cleans very well. Just wish the internal build quality were better. The rack rollers/guides seem flemsy for this price point. I like the third rack but think Bosch executes a better design there. I bought the extended warranty just incase.

I really love this dishwasher for several reasons. The first is how quiet it is; the second is how well it cleans my dishes, glasses, utensils; and the third is the versatility. I also love the appearance - it is so pretty and no unsightly buttons on the face. I highly recommend this dishwasher.

This is a very good dishwasher. Does the cleaning well and has a many desirable functionalities. The automatic door opening feature to speed up drying is great! Love the water wall technology. Super quiet. Two areas for Samsung to consider for improvement: connecting to network is bit of a pain (you need to push a button, and there is only short window for connection afterward); I wish they could've made the spikes for the plates longer to hold the plates up straight. Overall, I'm very happy with it.

This dishwasher is perfect. It’s quiet, it connects to my smart things hub, it washes all the dishes perfectly the first time, and it looks great in my kitchen.
