Customers are enthusiastic about the Notebook 7 Spin's touchscreen functionality, performance, and ease of use. Many appreciate its lightweight design and long battery life, along with the ample RAM and storage. While some users noted heat generation and webcam quality as areas for improvement, the positive feedback on other features outweighs these concerns. The overall impression is one of a well-performing and user-friendly device.

Wonderful speedy processor, very user friendly for even beginners, however, has everything that frequent laptop user needs! I love the fact that you can change the computer to either be a Hard Drive or a Solid State easily! All-in-all I absolutely LOVE this laptop and have recommended to all my family and friends!!

My previous two laptops were Lenovos and both had issues with the hinges separating the base in the rear of the case. My use is very mild; me sitting on my couch. So, I was disappointed in the poor monitor hinge design. I saw this Samsung at a great price after xmas, and couldn’t be happier with the purchase. The large monitor uni-hinge hopefully will not present the problems with two hinge designs. It may be a tad heavy for some, but it has a very solid and sturdy feel. The computer comes with virtually no bloatware. I have some finger dexterity issues from neuropathy and the spacing between keys is perfect for my “Franken Fingers”. I look forward into installing a SSHD drive. It seems like manufacturer have backed off SSHDs, and I don’t know why. I like the Nvidia card as well. It's the coolest (as in temperature) of any laptop we've owned. The screen looks great. It's a hard choice to make in this price range, but after being a user since 1986 I'm a fan of this machine. So is my cat.

I’ve been using this laptop for a couple weeks now and I’m very happy with my purchase. I’ve purchased many laptop brands in the past, but never a Samsung. Thus far I’m very impressed and I wanted to mention some important points that may help anyone that’s interested in purchasing this laptop.
**Positives**
Design:
Very beautiful laptop. Sleek and stylish w/ a nice touchscreen display. Keyboard is big and comfortable to use, keys are easy to push down. Keyboard has a back-lit feature that you can turn up and down. Keyboard also includes a numeric pad (not all laptops seem to include these anymore). Touch-pad is very nice, clicks easily.
Hard drive/SSD:
There are actually two versions of this laptop. This (cheaper) version does not include a SSD, however, it still includes space inside for a SSD. This is an important feature if you plan to buy a SSD and install it yourself at some point.
RAM:
This laptop has two slots for RAM. It currently has 12GB, but can be upgraded to 32GB (2 sticks of 16GB).
Graphics:
This laptop comes with a NVIDIA GeForce 940MX dedicated graphics card, with 2GB memory. It is often hard to find laptops in this price range that offer a dedicated graphics card, as this is one of the main features that pushes the price of a laptop up. This is a very necessary feature if you’re into gaming or want to do anything even remotely graphics-intensive.
Temperature/Fan:
I think it’s important to mention how quiet and cool this laptop runs. I’ve mostly been using it to watch videos, use different productivity software, etc. and the temperature stays around 37 degrees Celsius. Occasionally the fan will kick on for a minute or two and then go quiet again. The fan placement is also very thoughtful. The fan vents are actually located in the crease between the screen and keyboard, so you never have to worry about blocking the vents because they aren’t on the bottom of the laptop.
Extras:
There’s a nice feature on this laptop called Samsung Extras. It allows you to do a multitude of things quickly and easily, such as turn the keyboard back-light up and down, change the display color settings to suit what you’re doing (movies, photo editing, reading, etc.), change the sound settings to suit what you’re doing (movie, game, music, etc.). There’s even a silent mode that basically silences your fans if you’re in a class and need to be quiet or some similar situation where you need your laptop to be as quiet as possible.
**Negatives**
Design:
It’s a very heavy laptop. Around 5lbs.
It does not have a CDROM/DVDROM drive. If you do want a CDROM/DVDROM drive it is fairly cheap to buy an external USB CDROM/DVDROM drive that you would easily be able to use with this laptop.
Webcam:
The webcam on this laptop is only 480p. Strangely low quality.
Headphone/Mic:
There is only one port for headphone/mic, so basically you cannot use a separate mic and headphone at the same time.
**Important**
If you buy this, make sure you go to the actual Samsung website and register your laptop/laptop serial number, so that you can take advantage of their 1 year warranty on parts & labor. They also currently have a full manual and detailed warranty information on their website for this specific laptop.

This is the best notebook I have ever owned. It's fast, quiet, thin, and has a very professional, classy appearance. I particularly like the 12GB of system memory and the faster wireless-AC connectivity so I can utilize the higher speed of my wireless modem. I can multitask with several open internet windows without any problems. The keyboard is very high quality and has an excellent feel to it. The backlit keyboard is great in lower light situations when I'm watching television, etc. The full HD screen is exceptionally clear and shows every detail. The touch screen feature really adds to the versatility and helps me to magnify smaller details. I also like the 360 flip-and fold design in case I want to use it as a tablet, or set it up to watch a movie. Overall, I really love this notebook and I highly recommend it.

Bought for my wife for use at work and home. She is a high school counselor and needed something with good memory/storage, fast processing, and easy to use and portable.
Sleek design and pretty thin. Does not look or feel cheap. I qualified for $150 instant savings for being a college student.
She is very happy with it. It was a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. Less expensive models lacked processing speed.

This laptop is great for the student in your life. The GTX 940mx isn't the greatest video card in the world but it can play most games. The processor is fast and the 12 GB ram is more than is enough for most power users.
The 6 hour battery life isn't great but if you are a power user then you are already plugged in to a wall. It includes an ethernet jack too which seems to be rare nowadays especially for a 2 in 1.
The hard drive is a bit slow but not a deal breaker as it's a decent size.
The screen is excellent with HDR included. Not something you see very often.
For $100 dollars more you can get a lower end gaming laptop(HP) but the quality and size of those are always in question.

I do like pretty much everything about this computer.... graphics are beautiful... boots up fairly fast.... I am considering having geeksquad put in an ssd at some point...should help with booting speed and battery.... battery life as is isn't great... about 3 hours and that's pretty much just surfing... no heavy downloading, games, music or videos...
the webcam is a bit 'lack-luster' for sure... but I have an external camera that I can plug if I want to do skype, etc.... lots of ram which I needed since I always have multiple windows open... i like the feel of the keyboard (that was important to me...had returned a couple computers previously because of keyboard touch ) these keys are raised enough that you can actually feel them.... I do like the back-lit keyboard as well...
loved the fact that it wasn't loaded down with a bunch of software I would never use.... opted for the office 365 subscription.... it's also a 'pretty computer' (not that any guys will care about that) - light gold with black and white keys...
got a deal purchasing a certified open box - saved me a couple hundred off what it's selling for today... and of course bought geeksquad - would never buy a computer without it!
I bought it based on reviews and the recommendations of a couple heavy gamers that gave me a thumbs up... plus a tech support guy who shared that he rarely gets any calls about Samsung...
I wasn't sure about a Samsung computer (but have had good experiences with other products by them)... so far have been really happy with it... :)

Very light very quick and the battery would last forever. I'm not a fan of the Samsung 4K laptop screens. I actually returned it for a matte 1080p screened laptop with a better video card, upgradable ram, and USB 3.1 port. I liked it but it did not meet my needs, It says below would recommend this to a friend....actually I would get one for my college kid.

I bought this laptop for school and it far exceeded my expectations. It's very fast and easy to use. Also, because it's a Samsung, it pairs very easily to my Galaxy S7 Edge. The touchscreen display has great response, and it doesn't leave too much smudge marks. The keyboard has the perfect touch response, and is back lit as soon as it touched. The only thing I feel it could do better is have a better camera because it's very low quality for the rest of the package, but since I don't use it much I don't mind too much. Also coming in at 5 pounds, it's a little on the heavy side. But overall, wow! Awesome laptop for the price.

I was tired of dealing with the HP 360 laptop. I replaced 3 of them and had enough. After reviewing this laptop, I decided to give it a try. It operates fast, looks and feels slick, and is a great buy. My wife has a new Mac Book and this is just as good, with the added fun/flexibility of the 360 degree function. My one and only complaint is the placement of the speakers! They are not loud, no matter what position you place the laptop in! Samsung needs to fix this because I use this laptop for editing movies and always need to use headphones to hear any audio properly. Other than that, it is a great laptop without the big Apple price tag!

I had an Asus computer for a couple years that I was very happy with. Then one day it started acting up, and went downhill from there. It got so bad I couldn't do anything on it. I decided to get a new laptop. I checked BestBuy.com for a while before coming across this one. I have a Samsung phone, tablet and TV and have been very happy with their products, so I decided to go with a Samsung laptop. I wanted to get one years ago, but seemed so pricey. I saw this one on sale and it had everything I needed. Perfect amount of storage, perfect screen size, backlit keyboard which is a must for me. It seems to be very well made. It has an interesting texture to the bottom of it. It's not shiny like the top of it. It stops it from sliding around which is great. I already had Windows 10 and am used to it, so not it's not much different from my Asus. It is very nice looking. The only thing I was surprised about was that it doesn't have an optical drive. Which isn't a huge deal anymore, and I found one on sale for $24.99. I don't use CD's/DVD's that often. I love that this one is touch screen and folds backwards like my old one. It's also not too heavy, for the size. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!

Great computer! We've been using the fruit computers for quite awhile, so Windows 10 is a little of a learning curve, but seems to be intuitive. Speed is great! Nice to be able to tent it and watch movies in bed. I'm glad that we can add the M.2 SSD when the time comes. We got this on special during Black Friday, and even the Best Buy cashier commented on what a great deal we got! Extremely happy so far!

The main purpose of buying this laptop was to play some games, perform some minor photo editing and other general use. I am able to play games like WoW with mostly high graphics and my wife is able to perform her photo editing. The touch screen is responsive. When used as a tablet it does not feel too bulky. We do not need to travel frequently with the laptop so the weight is not a problem for us.

I bought this computer to ultimately do design work with Adobe programs. I have also never had a touch screen computer or a computer/tablet product in one. I was greatly surprised by this Samsung laptop! It's super cool design lets you fold it in half to use like a tablet or unfold to type like a normal computer. It is very thin and portable but does not have great battery life... it's enough to move the laptop somewhere else while still playing a game or doing something simple but doesn't last for more than 3 hours. The looks of this laptop are very simple and almost boring but it's still a nice clean, durable feeling design. Overall, best computer functionally that I've ever bought. I cannot comment on how it runs Adobe products yet as I have been using my old laptop for design still. Very fun laptop/tablet and Windows 10 was easier than I thought it would be to use. There is a learning curve but pretty easy to pick up on if you've ever had a tablet, iPad or even a smartphone!

This laptop offers a lot for the price especially compared with the other laptops in it's price range. This isn't a high-end gaming laptop though. It's mid-range at best. For standard PC related stuff though it's got more than enough. The touchscreen is also nice. Was looking to get a Samsung tablet but with prices with a nice cover w/ keyboard reaching $500 I pitched in another $400 and got a real laptop that blows away the tablet with 12GB of memory, 1TB of storage, an i7, and way better screen resolution. One caveat to be aware of, although it isn't a deal breaker, is this thing has no CD/DVD drive of any kind. Had to borrow a friend's portable DVD drive to install one thing on it.

I have been so pleased with this purchase. After suffering all sorts of issues with my last computer, using this one has been a breeze. It boots up fast, is blazing fast in browsers and programs, and best of all, has had no driver issues whatsoever. It's light (for an i7 with a NVIDIA graphics card, so don't expect the weight of a tablet), I am obsessed with the sound of the keyboard (so clicky!), and the touchscreen is very responsive. I find that I don't use the 2-in-1 technology much, but it's nice to have the option. Even the speakers sound great! I believe the speakers are at the bottom so if you're looking for top of the line audio, this machine probably isn't for you, but if you're just looking for good clarity and volume, it does the job just fine! I love this computer and with the Samsung name on it, I'm expecting to have it for a long time!

The reviews lead me to this great computer. Since purchasing, I've really enjoyed my computer time again. It's fast, and I know there's plenty of storage for my needs - mostly for photos. The keyboard is nicely spaced, and this is the first time I've had a lighted keyboard, and I didn't know what I was missing! It's much lighter weight than my previous laptop, and it doesn't get hot on the bottom if using it literally on your lap. I've had it now for about a month, and I'm pleased with me decision for this purchase. It offers way more frills and tricks than I'll ever discover or use so good for the more advanced user., too.

Overall this is a great laptop for this price. It includes a dedicated graphic card (2Gb), 3 usb ports, 1 HDMI output, LAN connection, and sd card reader. It doesn't have cd/dvd drive, but you can always purchase one online. The touchscreen responds really well, and the battery lasts about 4-5 hours (if you are using the graphic card the battery will be drained quickly). You can manually select which programs are run by the dedicated graph or you can let the system automatically. The power button is located on the side of the laptop, so you need to be careful not to press the button while using the laptop (it will happen a few times until you get use to it). Backlit keyboard works well, and you can select the intensity of the light. There is no light indicator for the number lock.
