I went to Best Buy to check out 3 Soundbars, Bose Smart Soundbar with the Bass Module 500 subwoofer, Sonos Arc with the Sonos - Sub Mini subwoofer, and the Sony Bar 8 with the Sony SA-SW5 subwoofer(they couldn't get the sub to work in the store). I had already purchased the Sony Bar 6 with the included subwoofer and was unhappy with it(the sound was so-so, and I couldnt add rear speakers). I listened to all three. I said to the sales guy, "Anything else I should listen to?". He said to check out the Samsung HW-Q930F. I was blown away by the sound. Plus it came as a package with the sub(nice and compact, not flappy or too loud) and the rear speakers, which also happen to be up-firing as well as front-firing. I walked out with the Samsung system. I set it up in my office(10ft x 11ft). It sounds as good, if not better than, in the store. You will love this system. I'm pairing this with the Sony XBR-48A9S TV. This is an incredible TV, and the sound system makes the whole experience that much better.

I purchased my Samsung Q series Soundbar and was extremely pleases with the sound quality of this soundbar. It came with a subwoofer and surround sound speakers. All pieces of equipment need to be plugged in, but once you test the speakers the quality is very impressive. We only put the sound bar to a sound level of 38 and it was as if I was in the theater! Set up was easy and the remote makes it easy to switch over any type of ouptut you might need. I would recommend this product for anyone that wants an outstanding quality soundbar with surround sound!

I have always liked Samsung sound devices; however, this soundbar is GREAT! I love watching movies. With this soundbar the experience is marvelous. It's a great buy!

Excellent sound bar system. Super easy to set up to my new Samsung TV. I really like the fact there are no wires to hook up except the power cords (4). This sounds good at low level TV watching and really shines when you crank it up during a movie. Mine comes on when the tv is comes on. I like that I don’t have to power it up with a separate remote every time I watch TV. I recommend this sound bar system. I think you’ll like it too.

Incredible sound. Very immersive, rear channel still catches me off guard at times. Absolutely love the fact that the rear channel is wireless.

Sound quality is great! Only thing I’m not a fan of is the length of the cords to rear speakers I had to get extension cords so they could get plugged into the outlet.

Great sound system. I have a Samsung Sero tv and the two systems link perfectly set up is super easy is almost plug and play.

This soundbar is incredible. The sound is rich, clear, and powerful. Bass hits hard without overpowering the rest. Movies and music both sound amazing. Setup was fast and simple. Honestly one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my home setup. No complaints at all. Would buy again.

Great sound! Was a little harder to pair all of the speakers. Instructions could be simplified. I had two speakers that did not automatically pair. Read all instructions again and found a step that was easily missed. At this price point Samsung could make a more user friendly instruction sheet

Great sound quality! Love the wireless rear speakers! Had been looking for a sound bar with no wires at all for the rear speakers, just plug them into a power outlet, Bluetooth to the sound bar and away you go. I had to contact Samsung for assistance to connect the Bluetooth, their instructions were not very clear but once the rep. had me click one button it connected and I have not had any problems with the rear speakers disconnecting since I first hook them up. I thought the price was a little high but the system just came out and I could not find anything that compared that was cheaper at the time. Love this system!!

Crisp, clean and wow what an upgrade. Brings the movie alive in our living room. Syncs prefectly to the tv. Sub, surround speaker all works so well together. Very happy with our purchase

Great sound and super easy setup. Voices come in clearly and I placed the additional speakers behind our viewing couch and it really immerses you in the movies/shows/games.

Great sounding soundbar and subwoofer combo. The top firing speakers truly provide sound in 3 dimensions, filling the entire 16 x 15 room. Can't say that the rear speakers are of much value as not much content and in some cases not any content is sent to them. I cannot say enough about this soundbar and subwoofer, the sound is "clean, with no muddiness " and can get very loud without distortion. After a few weeks of owning this soundbar, I am down to making minor tweaks to the system, such as gain to the subwoofer and up-firing and side-firing speakers. You won't be sorry getting this setup.
