I bought this as an upgrade replacement for my Samsung S8 Tab, since I lost my original pen. It is in no way an upgrade, I didn't see any more value in it then the original pen. The fact that you can locate it (if the battery is not dead) is far outweighed by the fact that it does not fit on the back of the S8 where the original pen goes and is charged. It also does not fit in the space on the OEM Samsung folio keyboard case. Tip broke off in the 2 weeks I had it, luckily made it in time for return. Perhaps better fit for S8+ or Ultra but not the regular S8 for sure.

It’s been a blast using this on my Galaxy Book. Been using it to practice my strokes in Japanese and messing around with art programs.

After using the S Pen for school on my Galaxy Tab 8 Ultra, I found my hands would get cramped because the pen was too small. The S Pen Pro is definitely way better for writing. It is just a shame that there aren't many cases for the Tab that fits the size of the S Pen Pro.

Over all great pen but due to the design of it, if the point of the pen breaks inside of it you can not get it out effectively making the pen useless. I've had to get a replacement 3 times now.
