Newly installed few days ago. Impressed how quiet it runs compared to our old one. Like the feature that the door auto opens to release heat when cycle done. Easy to learn to use.

I got a new dishwasher because my old one was extremely loud (builders grade put in when the house was built 14 years ago). I had high hopes for this dishwasher and loved the idea of the storm wash feature. Little did I know how much I would grow to regret this purchase and miss my old cheep dishwasher! Lets just say many of my dishes come out dirtier than they went in, especially the cups on the top rack that are almost ALWAYS full of food debris when its done. The biggest pro is that it is indeed nearly silent- my husband now jokes that that is because it does not work. The storm wash feature is a joke, gets less food off still than a standard wash in most dishwashers. We have come to the point where we nearly hand wash everything before it goes in and we still have dirty dishes! It also takes forever to run, 3+ hours! The auto open feature sounds neat in theory but in practice it is just a nuisance. It gets in the way in the kitchen, and if you close it before they air dry and empty it a few days later (I know, we should empty sooner... but life happens) sometimes there is mildew on the dishes.. Avoid at all costs!

this is by far the best dishwasher I have ever had; Quite, easy, plenty of room for pots and pans if needed; Will wash only lower basket if needed; Just great!

I love the sleek new design and black stainless steel. I haven't used all the features yet but it does a great job cleaning my dishes. It is so quiet I don't even know it's running.

Very quiet, cant hear it while running. Has alot of room and I love the top controls. The only con is wash cycle takes longer compared to the model I replaced.

I like how quiet this dishwasher is compared to others I've had in the past. I barely hear it running. I'm not crazy about the fact that the slots on the bottom aren't straight, but rather they are at an angle & in opposite angles from the front to the back. Plus, in my opinion, they are too closely spaced, so I put plates in every other slot. I'm just not sure they would get clean enough when they are spaced too closely together. Had I noticed this before I purchased this machine, I would have gone with a different one. Live & learn. In addition, be aware that this machine doesn't have a "cut out" in the back to attach the hoses. Because of this, we had to drill a new hole in our floor in order to get the hoses in a position so they wouldn't kink. We've had several dishwashers before this one & they have all had a cut out for the hoses.

I did a bit of research when we decided that we needed a new dishwasher. I'll admit that I wasn't expecting a lot when it comes to something as mundane as a dishwasher. I did the installation myself and it was a snap. Then I started it up, and thought I had screwed it up. I didn't hear anything. Nothing. It's THAT QUIET! Spotless dishes, but the lack of noise had me constantly checking to make sure it was on. My family is absolutely delighted with it, but I still can't help checking to make sure it's on. I'm totally satisfied. Wish I'd bought it long before now.

I love this dishwasher, not noisy, super clean dishes! I love that it opens to start the air drying process. It's easy for even the kids to use! Samsung has impressed me again!

Chose this machine after returning the Bosch model initially purchased and returned. The rack design in the Bosch was terrible. This machine cleans very well, is very quiet, has a better rack system, and dries pretty well with the open door system. Only minus is that it often retains an unpleasant odor when cycle is complete. This seems to be common in most brands these days. Using a freshener product helps.

We wanted a nice looking dishwasher to replace an older model in our new kitchen. The Samsung StormWash 24" Top Control Builtin Dishwasher has all the features we want without a lot of unnecessary extras at the right price point. We are happy with how nicely the stainless steel design fits in our modern kitchen and how quietly it runs. It's just what we wanted!

I think I have used my new dishwasher in the two months we've had it more times than our old one in the 15 plus years we had it. We have never been big into using a dishwasher anyway. We got it because we replace all the appliances so they matched. However, this dishwasher is soooo quiet you barely know it's working and it does. A great job. Plus I like that is completely flat on the front and easy to use. On the same token as the controls are on the upper interior surface of the door, one must be careful to not turn it on accidentally when opening and closing. Overall very satisfied with this purchase

I am very happy with this dishwasher. It is very quiet and does a great job cleaning the dishes. It has many features and is easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Very quiet dishwasher matching our set of appliances. Lots of room especially in the top rack for y’all glasses! Door automatically opens when finished.

We purchased this dishwasher to replace a fairly old model. The old model took forever to wash and was extremely loud when it was running. This machine is so much quieter we can barely tell it is on while it is running and that is exactly what we wanted out of it. For us the difference in how loud our old vs this new was perfect. Very happy with how well it cleans the dishes as well - but you must be careful not to overload the top rack in my experience. If you don’t overload, this machine cleans great.

Overall, we were pleased with this dishwasher. It washed well and was quiet. Being able to lower the top rack was a huge plus, as we have many large cups. The bottom rack layout was a bit odd. We found that using the normal & sanitize cycle helped dry the dishes. We just had to get used to the door automatically opening at the end of the cycle. Overall, it's a good dishwasher.

I purchased the Samsung DW80K5050us brand new from Best Buy and after a year it began having issues. The control panel first started going crazy and so I had a repair guy come look at it and he said it would be $400 to fix it. I declined. After a few months I turned it back on and it began working again so we just went back to using it. Today while running a load of dishes, I started smelling an electrical fire and smoke was coming up from in-between the unit and my counter-top. Turns out the seals on the motor were bad and it rusted causing it to seize and combust. It was less than two years old and it rusted to the point where it almost burnt my house down. I will never buy Samsung again.

I bought this dishwasher in July after returning a different brand. I waited to write the review until I had it long enough to know if it was satisfactory. This washer is great, its quiet and has a stainless steel housing. The one i returned was noisy and all plastic. I also like the controls on the top of the door. The only thing I don't care for is the long cycle time of up to 4 hours. If you put it in automatic mode it runs in about 1 1/2 hours depending on how dirty the dishes are. Great Value and Quality for the price.

Cleans great. However I feel it us too low to the ground. One cool option is that the door opens when the cycle is finished.

The machine is quite and cleans well. I dont need to run the washer everyday but waiting until theres a full load the washer can get really smelly. I guess because it's really airtight! I've resorted to sprinkling baking soda in the bottom between washes. A friend suggested running a rinse load every evening...but that is a waste of water!
