    This camera will only work with 2012 and up smart TVs. I have a 2011 model so it did not work. I had to return the item.

    I was pleased that the camera was so easy to install and came on right away. However the resolution on Skype is very blurred and I haven't found any way to make it sharper. Im seriously considering returning it and just sending my computer's Skype to my TV (65" Samsung 3d Smart 240hz) via HDMI.

    This camera as the recommended camera for this model is laughable. ..However it does provide the base function for Skype but the other available functions are limited and seldom if ever works

    Got this for couple months now and it works good for remote control of the tv. But sometimes it needs a little skills to do so. For Skype purposes it works flawlessly.

    This camera does Skype when paired with the correct model Samsung tv and will allow control of the tv with your hands. This is for functional hand gestures only in lighted areas as shadows would provide negative usage. Functional in so much as volume control and onscreen menu guide.

    This webcam has a good video quality but it had an issue with my 32" Samsung Smart TV it keeps rebooting it while using skype and I had to return it.
