Are you interested in joining a class action lawsuit for this model? We purchased in 11/2016, installed 1/2017. We have the same issue as all others with the dishes on the top rack coming out with food particles and a film on on most of the dishes.

This dishwasher has been great so far, it is very quiet. The only issues that I have are, Deep Crock Pot inserts will not get clean in the bottom 2 inches, I washed it in the StormWash zone, it left some food and soap residue at the bottom. The tines aren't as strong as my old Kitchen Aid, they tend to flex rather than hold the item vertical.

I must say, I didn't know that there were dishwashers that cleaned and not leave spot residue on the dishes when done. Well, this one does just that. It cleans with no spots or residue. Not to mention, it's cosmetically enticing as well. Makes our kitchen look better and it's very easy to clean.

Bought the Samsung Stormwash 24" Top - Stainless steel on February 2018 and it is broken by today, June 2018--machine won't turn on even after going through the manual's troubleshooting guide. When the machine is working, it is quiet and it opens up automatically after the wash cycle to allow the dishes to dry. My wife and I stopped placing any glasses in the corners of the top rack because they do not get a good rinse--there is always residue and food particles left behind. The rest of the dishes are clean as expected. When we place dishes that are touching--a plate leaning over touching another--they often times get a bad rinse and we'll find residue/food particles on them at the end of the wash. I'm not sure if that is what happens with other water-efficient washing machines. I'll update more, if possible, as to the tech or repair process experience with Geek Squad-5yr.

As much as I want to love this dishwasher, I can't say I do. The good features of this appliance are that it's easy to install, super quiet when running, and looks nice in the kitchen. The biggest downfall is that most of the dishes come out with food residue. Many times it's run with only a few items in it and the dishes still come out dirty. I've tried different soaps and keep getting the same results. If you want something that looks nice in the kitchen then get this. If you actually plan on using the dishwasher, as most people do, I'd look into something different.

I love the look of this dishwasher but I am a little disappointed in the quality. After reading several raving reviews about this dishwasher I decided to buy it. After getting it installed and using about 5-6 times I don't see what all of the hype was about. In some loads my dishes weren't completely clean and other loads there was a lot of soap residue left. I decided to review soaps and bought a highly rated dishwasher soap and it did help with the residue but it still leaves a slight film. If I had a do over I would buy a different dishwasher. Overall, this does the job but based on the high reviews I expected a lot more from this dishwasher.

We bought around 3 months ago, and just had it installed around 2 weeks ago. We use it almost daily so we tested it to the prime. Make sure you use heavy wash or storm wash when you wash dishes, because normal wash will not do a great job. We notice also the type of pods you buy for a cleaner also makes a difference on the results of clean on your dishes. Play around with it and you will find the one you like. When my wife and I were purchasing this we didn't know it didn't have heated coil dry like we were used too. So samsung doesn't use that technology anymore, but use hot air to blow it dry. So when the rinse is done the unit opens by itself which is neat, and does an air dry to dry the dishes. They get pretty dry, but there is some residue on clear glass cups we have which I do not like when its on the bottom rack.

    Do not buy this dishwasher!

Easily the worst appliance I have ever owned. The Samsung website indicates the issues we've experienced aren't unique - I wish the Best Buy website had the same detail, and we never would have bought. From instillation, the unit smelled like a compost bin, and often the dishes don't come out clean. Numerous Samsung service people came out and confirmed the terrible smell and the smudges on the dishes, yet continued to claim the unit was "working properly." Then just this week (the unit'sn't even a year old) the hinges started to creak, and now the rotating blade under the top rack fell off. Samsung has been no help at all, and by their "policies" the unit's still working correctly and they will not replace it - again, this is after service staff have confirmed the issues noted above. We'd dearly like to get out from under this dishwasher but it seems it's money down the drain. Save your time and more importantly your money. This product is a joke.
