Q: How does it dry if not by heat?

A: Condensation drying does not utilize a heating element at the bottom of a dishwasher. Instead, it involves a number of dishwashing elements that result in an energy efficient, high-quality drying process: The final rinse uses water that has been heated to a very high temperature. This makes the dishware very hot when the rinse cycle ends. The stainless steel tub of the dishwasher cools faster than the dishware because stainless steel typically cools faster than dishware materials (such as glass and porcelain). Moist air is released from the hot dishware when this moist air comes into contact with the cooler stainless steel tub and turns into water droplets (condensation). These water droplets trickle down to the bottom of the dishwasher and are drained in the next wash. Dishware and cups become dry during this condensation process. Plastics tend to have more difficulty drying because plastic does not heat up to a high temperature during the final rinse like glass/porcelain does. This specific model now has Auto Release The door opens automatically to release steam and let air in. When the door opens, the fan is activated generating an air curtain to protect the countertop. Test results show big improvement in drying (best in class!) Up to 35% improvement in drying and will dry plastics!

Q: How do I clean the filter of Samsung dishwasher dw80r5060us

A: It's the screen in the bottom of the dishwasher. You have to remove 10-12 phillips head screws to get it out and clean it. Worst filter design I've ever seen on a dishwasher!

Q: My Samsung dishwasher always feels warm inside.

A: My Samsung dishwasher is always warm inside, even if it hasn't run for days. Could the heating element be constantly ON?

Q: My Samsung dishwasher is flashing 4c what does that mean

A: Thanks for asking, Donald. This is a Water Supply Error code. Check out this link (https://bit.ly/2QfQPds) for more details about this error code. ^Jecca

Q: does my samsung DWK80k5050US have a filter it smells horrible

A: Any updates? Same problem and cannot locate the filter. Smells like fish and I’ve only had it for 2 months

Q: Is anyone having an issue with this dishwasher. I have tried every detergent and setting but its a horrible dishwasher. It leaves a build up ofn everything. I have a water softner so hard water is not an issue yet the inside is stained with hardwater?

A: I don't have an issue with build up, but the dishwasher doesn't work well for me at all. Almost every finished load has a dirty dish in it that I have to re-wash. It's so frustrating. I will never buy another Samsung dishwasher. Buy a Bosch (another example where you get what you pay for). I didn't want to spend the extra money on the Bosch but now regret it.
