This dishwasher is so quiet when running. I am used to having to turn the TV up in the next room over when running the dishwasher, not anymore. I also love the top rack for larger spoons and spatulas.

With something like a dishwasher, I think you really need to live with it for six months or so, to see how it works in a variety of circumstances. But this one seems to be doing the job, and it is attractive. The door pops open at the end of the cycle, which is new to us, but I think the air dry keeps everything more sanitary. I am a general contractor and installed it myself, and the instructions seemed lacking. The bottom toe kick panel did not fit right, and did not sit far back enough to cover it with my matching cabinetry toe kick, and there is a rubber (waterproofing?) gasket down there that just hangs down and doesn't seat right, with no word about it in the manual. Also, why don't they include the tiny 90 degree hookup elbow with the unit? Such a pain. For all this, I must dock a star.

I really like my new dishwasher. Quiet. Sleek. Love the hidden buttons and the fact it will pop open slightly at end of cycle to vent the steam out and promote the drying of the dishes. Love the stainless steel tub. Very happy with this purchase.

Have only had this dishwasher for about a month. It is extremely quiet, you don't even know it is running. It seems to clean well so far. Only drawback so far is it has a weird smell inside the dishwasher itself. Not worth exchanging it for and hopefully it will go away.

This dishwasher is amazing! We can barely hear it running in the background and the dishes come out squeaky clean. The door automatically opens after the wash cycle is done to allow for air dry. Troubleshooting was a bit of a pain when the dishwasher stopped working one day. It turned out we had accidentally pressed the lock button and we had to press and hold the sanitize button for 3 secs to unlock it. This information was no where to be found, even the geek squad support was asking me to turn off the breaker etc, to recycle the power which didn't help. Found this info on youtube posted by a user, all thanks to him we got our dishwasher working again.

I really love my new product. The only thing I don’t like is the door pops open at the end of the drying cycle for more efficient drying. My dishes are clean and fresh, but I still find most dishes are wet and sweating from door opening and don’t fully dry on their own. It is very quiet when the cycles run, otherwise it is a great product. I just don’t want to have to dry any dishes.

A very quiet machine that cleans dishes well. There are some spots on clear dishes but that could be the rinse agent amount. I’m still experimenting. I am pleased so far. I’ve only had it for 4 weeks. I love the black stainless look.

My old dishwasher was a Samsung as well, and I have had good luck with all my appliances (Stove, Micro, Dishwasher, Fridge TVs and DVR) so the start of my search was easy. I went up a model in the dishwasher that added a third tray, a turbo wash for heavy messes, a top tray for serving ware and a function that pops open the front door upon completion and a fan that helps remove the steam for quicker drying.

Bottom Line Up Front: I really like this machine and it's incredibly quiet. I bought this washer to replace my Bosch that was starting to have issues. The wash times are about the same, maybe a bit longer. It's so quiet that we can't tell its working - the lights are our only clue. The third rack is great for utensils but it doesn't work so well for sheet (flat) pans. Two unique items about this washer: - Towards the end of the drying cycle the door will pop open to help speed up drying. If you have pets, they may be tempted to jump in and stay warm. - The washer mounts so the exterior face is flush to the edge of countertop. This means the buttons are hidden from touching unless you open the door. Creates a neat look but it could leave you confused if you do a self-installation.

This dishwasher works well and runs quiet. The third rack is nice for knives, but sometimes I forget that I put something on it so it takes some getting used to.

This dishwasher does an excellent job of cleaning. Like the features a lot. When the cycle is over, the door even opens a bit to help dry the dishes. Super quiet.

Purchased on sale. Installation was easy. Dishwasher operation is simple and very quiet. It looks great and works perfectly. Very happy with the purchase!

My wife and I love this dishwasher. It's quiet during most of it's cycle. You can hear water draining, but that's technically outside of the dishwasher's control. I did the install and it wasn't too hard. I didn't like the plastic leveling feet. They just feel cheap and flimsy if extended too much. Overall i'ts a great value.

The dishwasher creates the best first impression. It is pretty, it is sleek, it cleans well, and the silverware drawer is a revelation. Great design. It is quiet, it cleans well, lots to love here... until it stops working. It has been exactly 3 and a half years and the dishwasher is now a doorstop. After running more or less reliably for that long the touch panel is completely shorted out. If you are able to power it on the panel switches wildly between settings and never stops. Obviously not user serviceable. We called Samsung because supposedly the whole circuit board seal assembly has a 5-year warranty, and sure, they were willing to come out and look at it to see if it was even covered.... IN A MONTH. And then, if it wasn't covered they would just charge us for everything. First, there is absolutely no reason this thing should stop working after 3 years. Second, there is absolutely no reason why anyone should have to wait that long for service. Very, very poor experience Samsung. We are going to try to get this fixed somewhere else, but if this is how their customer service is going to be then I think we will stop buying Samsung products.

Very thorough clean to all dishware and the stormwash setting for heavily soiled dishes is awesome. Also love the third rack for small items.

We bought this washer after our original died after 13 plus years of use and I will say we never new how poorly our old one was performing until we got this Samsung. It cleans remarkably! Its very quiet...we have an open concept kitchen and we never hear it when it runs while watching TV. One item that you will need to get is rinse aide as is mentioned in the instructions, because it dries dishes by convection air, not the heating element in the old style dish washers. I would have given this a 4.5 if available because the only issue we have with it is that the top rack is sometimes hard to line up to close the door when you extend the top for large dishes.

We can only here when draining or when very quite house noise. Sometimes I have to check if it is on its so quite. Hooking-up the electrical cord was a challenge due to location of the electrical box on unit. This is the reason for four star rating. If you have it installed, I would give it a five star rating.
