    I was hoping to get 1 gb throughput. It starts out that way and then slows down to half or less. Wish I could figure out why. It was advertised as fastest available.

    Say cheap ones on the internet, The ad's website was very new making the disks appear to be a major brand with no brand name on the unit itself. I would rather get the bran name product from a reputable source with a local store and good customer service.
