So far so good. The market for portable ssd is getting crowded and prices have come down some so there are good options out there. This samsung is quite good compared to what is out there for the price. I almost went with Sandisk but couldn't wait for their newer gen 2 version so I went with this one. I've had no problems with this drive so far. I would probably not get this at full retail and would wait for a good sale. If you can get this at a sale, I think it's worth it.

This external hard drive is great. I'm using it as additional storage to use for making & editing videos on Final Cut Pro on my Macbook. I have no issues using it while editing live or anything. I am thoroughly satisfied.

Realiable hasn't let me down yet, good storage device with great speeds

Purchased as my external storage on my PS5 to play backwards compatible games. They load so quick it’s amazing. Similar speeds to the internal drive and that’s saying a lot! A little pricey, but best you can possibly buy.

Reliable and essential. I used this to store video and audio recordings of my choir students during Covid. Very useful when in-person singing is a super-spreading event and video/audio are essential.

Economical and space-saving way to provide 1TB of storage. I am using it to back up critical files, especially photos.

Data transfer is but slow . But otherwise connectivity & usage is good

A truly great drive, incredibly fast. I bought this for a blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4k and be warned, you need a T5 -- NOT a t7. If you're looking for a drive that you can edit 4k video off of, this is the one.

Need and external for my xbox one x. And the loadings are fast. So far I'm happy with it. I even bought a second one. Loving this ssd. Yes the do run a little hot. But that's not and issue for me.

Best SSD on the market! Very fast. I don’t even notice any speed differences between the internal drive and this external SSD. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for expanding storage without opening up their computer.

What a great SSD Samsung makes great products, this one is phenomenal. Very happy. I purchased it super fast up and downloads.

Had my HDD for about 8 years and figured it was time for an upgrade. Switching to this SSD was a great decision. This thing is much faster and definitely what I needed.

I had a hard that I used for backup after 5 years so I decided to replace it with this solid state drive. It works great, is faster and hopefully will last longer than the hard drive it replaces.

This drive is super fast. I use it for video editing and it works great off with no lag when editing and no frames were dropped. I’d recommend the 2 TB size as the 1 TB fills up very quickly.
