I used this to play games on my laptop which only had a 500gb hard drive this plugged right in and I was able to play AAA game titles with the games installed on this hard drive using the provided cable. It is now plugged into my desktop and I don't think I will ever get rid of this drive. The construction feels great port feels like it is a quality port transfer speeds are fantastic with this drive and have ran into no problems with this drive it self The one downside is that out of the 4000gb in the drive only 3600gb was actually available to be used out of the box I know drives need some space for their own software and whatnot on there but 400gbs seems excessive for that. That is the only downside to this drive and that may be able to be fixed but I have not found a way but also not really looked into it. With that said I would still recommend it

So far this portable SSD has been great. My files open really fast. It's small and comes with 2 types of connection cables which I appreciate. Hopefully I won't have to buy another one since its 4TB but if I did because I need extra storage I'll get this one again!

I bought the 2TB Samsung SSD for my film projects and it has been a game changer. The transfer speeds are incredibly fast and I can move hours of 4K footage in minutes. This thing is amazing. Small enough to fit in your pocket, holds 4TB of data from movies, music, files and more! I bought it because I purchased a new laptop and wanted to keep my files from the old computer. I transferred 800MB to this drive and still have plenty of room. With it being a solid state drive it was done in very little time!

Excellent unit. Connects easily to all my devices including Android phones, tablets, desktop Windows computers, and my laptop. Use it to transfer large video and audio digital content between them all. Speeds are very good. Device is small and easy to transport. Highly recommended.

Very good, very fast, reliable, plug and play. I don't know why you would use and internal SSD over this one.

Using the T7 4TB external USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable SSdD for a back up of my 4k and 1080 p home videos and computer stuff. Woks Great but I'm awere that you have to occasionally use it or it could loose data. So I get it out once a month to keep it active. Work fine and great speed,

This is just what I wanted for storage of our photographs. Its small and unobtrusive, fast, reasonably priced, and I expect will be very reliable because its solid state, no moving parts.

This is my 3rd T7 and I love them. They're super quick and convenient. No glitches, no issues, gets the job done every time and has plenty of storage. Like I said I have 3 for 3 different purposes and I still haven't used up all the storage.

I have two of these Samsung SSD's a 1TB and a 2TB. I've had no problems with either one. They were easy to set up and to use. I can't tell about the lifetime reliability but so far so good. I use them primarily for backup. The 1TB I've had for two years and the 2TB about 3 months. I would recommend them based on my experience so far.

This external SSD includes both USB-C and the older style USB connectors in the box. It is small and thin with a metallic shell. While not tested, it says it has a 2 meter drop distance. I would recommend this to others looking for an external SSD.
