I use on my xbox to transfer x/s games back and forth from the internal storage. Works great. Great transfer speeds. 10/10. All other games on it load in way faster.

The Samsung T& Shield 1TB is the absolute best back up drive I've ever had. It took the dread out of backing up files that I absolutely could not afford to lose. I'm not a technical wiz, but not a dummy either. The ruggedness and slim size is also very appealing.

Sturdy, fast, reliable. I am using this to store steam games and in the beginnning there was subtle lag but thats because stuff was still installing. Now i have almost my whole library downloaded and theres no noticible lag. MSI Creator Z16 Laptop btw. As a bonus, the password protection is really easy to set up and use as well.

Just purchased yesterday. Attached to my 12 gen. I-7 computers' USB-C, and though I'm not clocking, it seems to run as fast as my internal SSD! Surprisingly small size makes it extremely portable. Hoping for 5 yr. life expectancy for archives. Good price/good value!

Bought so I could play BG3 on my laptop - though it has only been a few weeks, it has worked well so far! Before buying, I worried using an external drive would cause some lag in-game; I'm excited to say everything is running smoothly and quickly! I've got over 40 hours of gaming on BG3 with no issues. My whole Steam library has been moved onto the Samsung external drive to free up space. I wish I had bought something like this earlier. My laptop only has one USB port, which I use for my wireless mouse...so it's a lifesaver that this external drive comes with both a Type C-to-C and Type C-to-A wire! It meant I could uses the C-to-C cable to attach the external drive, and still have my USB port free to use my mouse!

It comes with everything you need in the box and works flawlessly. Pair as well with the Samsung magician software so you can monitor it on your PC

great SSD. I have a laptop with 500gbs of storage on it so I'm pretty limited with what I can and cannot download, often jockeying between several different applications at any one time. This SSD solved my problem and also just works super well. It has a built in software that acts as a protective shield to stop any ne'er-do-wells from breaking in, in case I lose track of it. The price is a bit steep and the 'water resistant' feature feels like a cheap tack-on to raise the price (lets be real why would this thing ever be near water. its like giving a hotdog lead-lined wrappers or putting a thermal coating on a pencil) but I got it during a sale so it balances out.

This is a reliable and high speed storage solution to keep up with my storge needs. The T7 Shield's lightning-fast data transfer speeds, boasting up to 1050MB/s, make file transfers a breeze.

Good speed and I like this better than T7. It looks more durable than T7.

So small and super fast! I use this to hold the imagery for making maps (extremely large files). There isn't any hesitation when I move the map and everything has to regenerate. Would definitely buy again!

Great portable SSD. Very fast and efficient. No moving parts. Rugged rubber casing. I use it mainly for PS4 and PS5 game files.

I use this drive to store all of my video games on and I am happy with both the speed of the drive and the capacity. My games load up quick and I haven't had any issue during game play. The 4TB size means I have plenty of storage space for my existing and future games.
