I bought it because of the great reviews. I got the problems on the first usage. 1. While transferring all my items (around 1TB) from my desktop, I couldn't transfer more than 30 percent. I tried to do it four times. At 30 percent, the process simply stops. The computer does not freeze, and the file transfer window shows no errors. 2. During all four attempts, my PC worked very slowly; it was almost impossible to use the mouse. 3. In Samsung's response to the one-star comment, I found the following information: "You can verify whether the Samsung SSD product you have purchased is genuine by using the Magician software included on the CD." There is no CD included and no Magician software on the SSD itself. I bought a SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable 4TB External USB-C NVMe SSD to compare. I did not have any problems even though SanDisk has worse reviews. Thus, this Samsung SSD is going back to Samsung.

Best external hard drive available. Would purchase again when ready.

Fast & compact. Throughly Pleased! Easy plug & play!

This is a handsome, compact design, and is very portable. I can easily carry it in my camera/laptop, travel bag to use as an external drive to hold thousands of image files from my high resolution camera, rather than loading them on the laptop, itself, which only has a 1TB internal SSD. The T9 is fast enough for me to "work" with files stored on it, and save the resulting edited image, in a separate folder, as well.

As stated and very compact,I was waiting for this big old blk box,And then it came.I'm like WOW so small and compact,easy to carry anywhere !

Absolutely happy! For the price, and not going through the headache of trying to transfer over files and taking apart my pc for the nvme’s but basically plug and play. All of the games I installed onto it load and run amazingly. Tons of storage and super easy to use.

I bought this to record straight from my DAW (Pro Tools) and it works just fine. Haven't bumped into any issues yet.

This is an Amazing ssd!! Very faster, very easy to use, perfect for editors, designers, or some like that!

Excellent and fast data transfer, I actually run a video editing software project on that drive and runs smooth

I use this on my ps5. It works well for the storage portion and games load quicker than on my previous external hdd. The only qualm I have with it is it will say that it was unplugged and then have to repair nearly everytime I put the playstation into rest mode thus causing any game that was running on it to close

When on sale for $250, you can't beat a blazing fast 4TB portable SSD (same price as a 4TB T7 but faster as long as you have the correct USB-C USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 port). Plenty of space if you take photos/videos to download on the go to clear up your cards space. I recommend it (on sale that is).

Great quality it is amazing. It works great even when load it in full capacity, not to much heat.

I cloned my Mac mini internal ssd and now use this a a larger boot drive. So far it is pretty much perfect. I am happy with it and will be buying another one soon

This external SSD is fast, build quality is great and can survive reasonable drops. I have had multiple of these in the past and throughout the years they have never failed on me so I can safely say they are very reliable. Thanks Samsung!

It is smaller than I imagined. Easy set up. Great transfer ability to save space on the laptop.
