    Some trouble Linking it

    Issue is Samsung washers and dryers connect with this adapter only when your WiFi frequencies are separated. Example: 2 ghz and 5 ghz This way the USB adapter is able to distinguish between the two and connect properly.

    The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is that it's dumb that it even has to be purchased. The fridge I bought it for should just have had it built-in. Otherwise works as advertised.

    I already had smart things installed with multiple wifi extenders in the house. It might be the key to making these easy to install. Smart things added them right away. no issues.

    Bad Adapter

    I ordered this adapter and didn’t have time to call Samsung to have them try to help walk me through the steps to set it up. Once I had time to talk to Samsung, we realized the Adapter would not connect to the Smart Home app. The Samsung rep had me do several different steps to try and get it to work but it would not. He let me know that this was not something they could fix because they stopped selling this item and recommended taking it back to the store I got it at. Unfortunately I had exceeded the 15 day limit that Best Buy gives you to return items so I paid Best Buy $25 for nothing.

    Make your Washer and Dryer SMART!!

    Used this to turn my Washer and Dryer into smart devices. You can connect it to smart things app and once connected, it will give you notifications on your phone when the washer cycle or dryer cycle is done. Pretty Neat. For the price its good. Its not as easy to make the first connection as the way each washer and dryer works is different.

    Finally a WiFi stick for our washer and dryer

    Missed out on buying the first generation WiFi stick for our washer and dryer set. They discontinued those and we thought we were out of luck. Then I just happened to see these on the website.. checked the compatibility with our set and we were ecstatic to learn these adapters were compatible.. also $75 cheaper each!!! Love being able to get alerts that loads are finished.
