I've bought so many of these solid state drives they're really nice for putting just an operating system on.

What is there to say... if you have a HDD, buy this to replace it with confidence. It's not the fastest SSD out there but it's cheap, reliable and a whole lot faster than that HDD you're replacing. Remember, Best Buy price matches, although they usually have a best deal for these.

Bought for work purposes to replace a dead HDD. This SSD was recognized quickly and is a vast improvement over the original HDD. This is in a work laptop being primarily used for Office and web browsing.

First SSD, easy to install, fit into my mini-itx case just fine, and boy is it speedy! Needed a 2.5inch drive since my PC case was missing a bracket for a regular sized HDD. This was the perfect solution, and enough space for my immediate (mostly casual gaming) needs. Def. recommend!

Wanted an SSD to load Win 10 operating system only with apps and files on another hard drive. Goal was to greatly increase the boot time and speed of my apps. Scan Disk is highly rated, and proved to be a really good SSD. No problems at all. fast and an easy install too.

Had a 10.1" netbook that had a bad hard disk. Found this for about the same price as a HDD with much better speed and lower power consumption. Gives new life to a low horsepower netbook with limited resources for ram and processor speed. Does good for simple tasks....email, light duty browsing, etc. This is a lower performing SSD than the Ultra II series or the Pro line but then it is a fraction of the cost. Good for what I needed.

This hard drive is super fast. It greatly enhanced the performance of my laptop.

Any SSD will give a tremendous boost in your computer. As long your RAM is above 4GB. Be sure to change your Hard Drive to a SSD in order to make your life easier. Even if you have your oldest and rugged laptop, it will be brand new again once you change it to SSD.

Easy to install. OS install was fast as well. Will be purchasing another soon.

Excellent way to speed up your computer with this unit. So far, works great.

I have purchased a couple of these and they have not failed me yet. The speed increase is wonderful and I have not had any issues with the product so far. A wonderful alternative for people that do not use much hard drive storage and need that speed increase.

This is the best upgrade a person can give to an aging computer or a must have for new builds. The speed and performance of this drive is night and day to a normal spinning drive. Do yourself a huge favor and buy this one. You will be super glad you did.

It drastically improved the performance of my laptop that's 6 years old. The boot time is now 3sec compared to a minute before upgrade. The hard disk is plastic feels like a pendrive in a hard disk wrap. It was a easy upgrade in my 2012 Macbook Pro.
