There is always news of cheaper solid state disks, but my experience has been they check the market/monopolize with other manufacturers This is a really good drive for photo and video. Big enough to store quite a lot, fast enough for real-time editing work and scratch disk.

For the level of technology versus price point, it did the job nicely. Bought this to replace a hdd drive that failed in a Lenovo Yoga (price point of HDD versus this SSD was a no-brainier), and this not only brought it back to life, but it breathed new life into it. Not as much of a performance increase as adding more RAM, but file access and booting both are noticeably faster. Did what I was expecting it to do (a touch better, actually)

I can't remember if I bought this SSD for $90-95. But I will share this, so I "hope" it helps. This is a very good SSD in terms of "efficiency and speed". I used to have a high level Sandisk in my laptop and unfortunately it was defective and I got blue screens. When it "did work"...it was OK and OK at best at keep my laptop's battery alive. With THIS SSD, it's much more efficient and very quick. The efficiency I can say has gone up and easy 10% or more = for the Ungeeky it means I get more time out of my battery like 30-45 mins extra and didn't dissipate heat hardly at all. YES buy it !!

The product performs as stated. It is much faster than the SATA drive and seems to be more durable. The price was beyond excellent. I would hightly recommend this drive.

This SSD just moved old MacBook Pro into hyperdrive. Boot time is one-tenth the old time, app load times are super fast, installation by a techie was inexpensive too. And the price was great -- very affordable for a low budget guy.

This drive performs very well for an entry level SSD.I am running Windows 10 on it and the boot time is approximately 3 seconds.If anyone has the opportunity to upgrade to a larger capacity SSD,this would be a great drive.

Uses MLC NAND memory modules, which have superior longevity compared to the TLC modules in the comparably priced Sandisk Ultra II. One of the most economically priced MLC drives from any manufacturer; this drive is a bargain.

This solid state hard drive has increased my productivity, as it is faster and more responsive than a standard disc drive. I should have installed this drive a long time ago.

I added this SSD to my 2010 iMac 27" and it's performance boosted as if it was a new computer. It was really worth the upgrade, price/value is really good.

I bought this SSD to upgrade my laptop. With this drive and upgrading to Windows 10, I will be able to keep going for a couple more years.

Excellent SSD hard drive. I used an external housing case to turn this into an external SSD hard drive. Works great, couldn't be happier.
