This Sandisk solid State storage device was faulty, came to know later as i was getting few of my files not copied. From my experience it is having bad sectors for which it hangs often & loses valuable data (video/audio)
Returning window was short so unable to return.
I am having 3 more such device taken online & all are performing good
Had a bad experience with most products purchased in Best Buy North Irving center which is now closed also.

Overheating, loose files. Support from SanDisk pure.

Product failed after two years of use. As a primary back up, that was not acceptable. Data recovery services cost $400 to $600 + shipping. Recommend a more reliable product.

I have had this drive for 7 months and have not been able to use it. The SanDisk Lock feature I installed at setup without realizing what havoc it would cause. I am unable to remove the utility, and carbonite won't recognize either the disk itself or the virtual disk the utility creates. I have spent countless hours trying to fis the problem. I have a very expensive paper weight.

Failed Hard Drive

Worked great when i first bought it a year ago. After six months the drive quit. The drive doesnt show on my Apple Mac or Windows 10 PC. I tried a new proven working cable hoping that was the issue, but no luck. Not sure what to do.

Wow, this thing is impressively awful for an external drive! I'm a computer engineer and struggled to let it write multiple different files. It only ever let me write to it once at a time. If I wanted to write more files the next time it claimed the storage space was full and needed to be wiped each time. Absolutely unusable and not recommended unless you prefer saving data like a drunk gambling with dice.

Crashed already when using it as a photo backup for Mylio photos organizer. Won’t even mount so can’t start over.

I was told just take it home plug it in. Well, a few days ago, I called the 800 number because of a warning from WebRoot. Your rep looked at my setup and all was well: desktop hard drive at 90% & ext. At 0%
