I love the size of this drive! It is easy to carry around in a backpack and it doesn’t take much space at the desk or wherever it is used. The data transfer speed is fantastic!

I Bought for long term storage. I ran a flash disk checker to fill and clear the drive a few times over to verify there weren't any failures OOTB. It completed without issue. It comes with a C to C cable and a usb C to A adapter to use connect with a standard port. No issues with anything, slightly befuddled why they notched the usb C adapter for the cord so it can only plug in one way. It doesn't effect usability at all, just an odd design choice.

Easy to take with me to make sure any work I do while unable to get online is backed up and quickly! Excellent if you just need a place to keep things you don't want in the cloud or risk losing if your computer fails or, perish the thought... stolen/lost

Alot smaller than what i anticipated which is a good thing. Super conveinent little 1tb hard drive. About 9 months into using it and haven’t had any issue yet. Straightforward to use and definitely worth buy i recommend waiting for the sale to get the best deal for thus hard drive. If you need a portbale hardrive A.S.A.P its worth the buy at orginal price too but since this is frequently going on sale i’d recommend buying it than if you don’t mind waiting. All in all great portable harddrive!

Convenient size makes it easy to bring it with my laptop

I owned an external drive previously, but I could only use it on one computer, and it was kind of complicated. I hesitated to buy this, but I’m very glad I did. It’s as easy as using a jump drive. After buying a new laptop, where everything is supposedly saved in the cloud, which I’m not comfortable with, I got this external drive, And am extremely happy.

I bought this when I started a business in Oklahoma last year after retiring my trusty external Western Digital SATA hard drive. I needed something that was reliable, could take a beating, and was fast. After doing research and asking some of my friends in the digital design industry I went with this SanDisk. Although it's more expensive than the Crucial equivalent and the price hasn't dropped much at all, I'm glad I made this purchase. It's a perfect size, has a good feel to it, and I still use it regularly.

Small, fast, ample storage. What more could you want from a portable SSD? This SanDisk Extreme ticked all the boxes for what I was looking for. It has a read/write speed that covers almost any task you'd throw at it and it's nearly microscopic size means you can truly take it anywhere. My only gripe, while very small, is that SanDisk did not include a longer cable. The cable is 6 inches at best and makes using it on certain computers more difficult. Luckily, it's USB-C and cables are cheap and readily available. It would only affect those who don't have extra cables on hand.

I am a videographer and can attest to this product. An incredibly convenient product, fast transfer speeds, light, durable and easily fits in a pocket. It has ample storage space all around and is perfect for getting the job done. I would highly recommend this product as apposed to hard-drives, they crash and break over time. The Sandisk is an excellent buy for large sensitive files like videos.

This was my first time using SSD's, and this was amazing. Expensive but amazing. For some reason it took a lot of time to "load" all that I needed on it, not sure why. But once loaded with my files works great. I might need larger space, hoping it would be this same size, the hooks that come with it are nice.

Very fast SSD for gaming. Bought it for my sons laptop and it the read write speeds are excellent.

Speed and quality. Great drive for Macbook, PC, or ipad. protective casing and durable. Would purchase again.

I absolutely love this portable SSD hard drive! A year ago, I purchased a HP Pavilion x360 laptop for working at clients (since it’s powerful but small and compact). The SSD drive on the laptop wasn’t very large and could not be expanded. So, I needed a travel portable drive that was uber fast and large enough to contain all my files on my home computer. This fits the bill! I can back up/overwrite files in a matter of minutes between my home laptop and the SanDisk. And it’s small and compact so it doesn’t take up any room in my backpack. I absolutely love it. There’s only one drawback. You have to download this program from SanDisk in order to permanently delete files on the SanDisk Extreme. I found out the hard way that this was required (do not try to just delete files from the disk directly. The files may not show on your directory BUT the space is still occupied with the files which is weird). If it wasn’t for this, the review would be a solid and deserving 5 stars. But, it’s well worth the money (especially if it’s on sale).

Works as it should. We purchase 1 or 2 of these per year for on the go for my wife's photo business.

This is the fastest Portable USB Hard drive I have ever used. It is made by Western Digital who owns SanDisk. WD is known for making one of the most reliable hardrives in the industry. It comes with a USB Type C to USB Type A dongle for use on devices with older USB Type A ports. It also had a 5 year warranty. I would highly recommend this Sandisk SSD Portable USB drive to anyone who wants the fastest Portable USB Hard drive and the lightest one I have ever used. It works with the Xbox one X and the Xbox Series S & X. You can't install Xbox Series S or X games on it.. you can only install Xbox One, 360 and original Xbox games.
