Not mac os compatable

According to apple it does not work with the os Monterey it would have been nice to know that prior to buying it and wasting a lot of money

Decent, but not at full price
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I caught this on a Cyber Monday sale, so I ended up with a 4 terabyte external SSD for about $200. Upload/download speeds are decent for only using a USB-C connection, but it gets smoked by even the hard drive in my 5 or so year-old pre built. You're not rivaling any of your internal components for sure. It's also a lot smaller than I expected. Still the shell is a highlight for me, it feels less likely to fall off a desk if you set it down. Shell has some grip to it. It does get pretty warm though, so be ready to stop using it from time to time. Recently it has struggled a bit especially with video playback. Right now it's about 1/3 full but it sometimes needs some extra time to respond. It also freaks out randomly where the video freezes and is unresponsive. Close out the window and give it a bit and it's alright, though. I wouldn't buy it at full price, but even for $100 off let alone the $200 discount I got, I'd go for it. Not bad. I'd more give it a 3.5/5. Round up for me.

Super Fast - Seamless Connection

I opted to go with an SSD - good choice! Access times are nearly instantaneous. Petite size is fantastic for arranging my desk real estate. Power consumption is rock bottom minimal compared to my older external drive. It seems pricey, but the lightning speed is worth it to me. I may never go back to a magnetic drive.

External SSD 4 terabytes

Best Drive Ever

These are so much smaller and have never given me a single issue they’re also shockproof so even though i would not recommend it you should be able to drop these from 3-6ft without breaking them.
