I was able to save my desktop files to the SSD pro, now I can use my iPad in place of my iMac.

I got it on sale and was worth every penny since I now have more storage. Its fast and efficient!

Also have rare instances that while running a game off the drive, the game will freeze up briefly. Not sure what to think. Might just be a bad drive otherwise good.

She is getting her bachelors in Animation and the storage quality and the help it aids for her to send her projects to her teachers is amazing. She absolutely loves it.

I would recommend this product if you are traveling and need to be able to consolidate your data or anything worth saving on the go.

Only issue is that it doesn’t reach the advertised speeds. Tested it on the new 16” MBP and it only reached 850 Mbps instead of the advertised 2000.

You need a Super Speed 20 USB port to get the max speeds... i think is also called something like USB 3.2 gen 2x2. The USB naming convention is not great. 1 month in, and so far so good.
