I recently purchased an external SSD drive from Best Buy and within a month it failed on me. I lost all my videos for my job and was unable to get a return or refund. Even after Geek Squad confirmed the drive had failed, Best Buy refused to honor their return policy. As a professional reviewer, I feel obligated to inform my followers not to purchase this product or brand. Poor quality products and inadequate customer service are unacceptable.

Bought to use with brand new Mac Studio to store Logic Pro projects and plugin files. I don't know if it's the computer or if it's the hard drive but I've had both for less than 30 days and the SSD has been wiped out twice. I'm the only one who uses the equipment and make sure to eject and power down after every use. Very dissatisfied would give 0 stars if possible.

Bought this for my vacation to store photos and videos other than my phone (s22 ultra) and it kept on crashing and freezing so I decided to return it.

Would be nice if its thunderbold but its not, still fast for running apps from external drive.

Two days after transferring my work data to this drive and getting all my files organized this disk just dropped about 75% of the files. Gone. Some are there and some are not. No reason. No it's not working at all. Won't let me access it no matter what USB port or computer I use. This is just a very expensive paper weight at this point, and my files are gone. Good times.

We bought 2. 1 worked fine. the other has now corrupted 3 times and I've lost a ton of data each time, luckily after the first one and spending a bunch of money i was able to recover the data, the other times we had planned a backup transfer just in case the hard drive crashed and thank goodness we did.

I bought this 1tb card, stored all my family photos and professional work. ( over 200 GB) Now the memory card doesn’t work. So all of work and precious memories gone. I owned it for 2. Weeks and used it less then a hand full of times

Bought two of these in a row that have become corrupt in the first week of use. I work professionally in video and lost important footage for clients. Best Buy had the nerve to attempt to charge me to extract it, which they also failed to do.

Worst Purchase imaginable. These drives are not reliable AT ALL. SanDisk should be sued. Lost footage from an entire 3-day shoot because of this crappy hard drive. DON'T BUY EVER.

Full drive failure. At first, files started disappearing but eventually it became completely unusable and all data was lost. Learning now that this is common with this drive. Buyer beware

Hard drive corrupted after one week of use. Tried reformatting and failed again one week later. Beware. I've read a lot of reviews saying these hard drives purchased after November 2022 have been faulty.

Bought it, transferred my data, trying to access data 1 week later the data wasn’t accessible. Could just be the one bad one but I essentially lost my data.

had a hard time connecting , quit working after 3 weeks ... have tried 3 different cables and nothing. Its dead and unreturnable now.

Corrupted on first use. Do not buy. Wait for next iteration, reviews, and tests before purchasing an extreme pro.

Forget this and buy a samsun. This ssd erase all my work twice

works great. Small, right size to always have with me and holds all my music. Also its OK to get wet.

This product did exactly what I needed it to do. I needed to transfer a large amount of files from one computer to another. I was surprised at how fast it was able to copy the files. I am very satisfied with the product. It was even a better deal than I thought, as it was on sale at the time, and I was able to get double the speed for slightly more that the slower speed product.

Very fast device. Writes just as fast as it reads. When I write to a USB3.0 flash memory from another USB3.0 flash memory, the write speed is anywhere from 20 to 45 MB/s. Writing to the Extreme Pro gets me the full read spread of the USB3.0 device, 145MB/s. When I plug it into my PCIe NVMe USB3.2x2 interface card on my PC, I get read/write speeds of 760 MB/S transferring files from my SSD C: drive. What used to take 1 hour and 45 minutes to copy 135GBs from a USB3.0 flash drive now takes approximately 4 minutes.

Small,light,very fast tranfer speed. But can only use on computer. Cell phone,and tablet cant support the Power required to run drive.
