It works perfectly as you plug it into the computer (Windows 10). The read/write speed is very fast. Strongly recommend.

Second, it has a bundle of unneeded/unwanted aps preloaded which try to activate when you plug it in for the first time. Harmless (probably) but annoying adware and promoware I had to axe. Note to Sandisk: When I want your help, I'll ask.

I'm sure fire will kill it but it did survive the clothes washer and dryer and all my data was still intact.

The thumb drive is also backward compatible with computers using USB 2.0 ports.

I cannot get in to the files, very upset. I know it is a good tool but for the password issue it is frustrating. if you know of a solution I would gladly appreciate it.
