i accidentally deleted my operating system off an old Macbook Pro that i wanted to use for a limited purpose and with this I was able to somehow download the program again and put it back on my computer. I just leave it plugged in all the time and it works like a charm.

I have a total of six Sandisk USB3 thumb drives and use them for my daily backups, movies and transferring assorted data from computer to computer- great fast and easy transfer. I would recommend that Mac users reformat as they arrive as Fat32. Use disc utility and format the parent (top) as Mac OS X exteneded (journaled).

For the price the item is good. We got it as an option to expand the storage on a Smart TV and sadly despite formatting and setup the television failed to recognize it. Since we travel and work in Entertainment, the unit does provide us plenty of options and will be a welcome part of our media kit.

I needed to move a fairly large number of files from one computer to another. I bought this memory stick with a gift card I received. It took all the files in one move with lots of room left over so 11 years of special moments are all on it and moved to where they belong. It was easy to use and worked very quickly. I now have a new tool I love using.

Excellent transfer speed, great price. There is an optional software download if you require encryption. Files fly to and from the drive when plugged into a USB 3.0 port.
