And what it does? It's insane. This is a top tier product from SanDisk. The read/write speeds are as fast as when my girlfriend left me for a guy that "Ran a sports marketing firm" out of mommy and daddy's basement. Do as I did and if you need some extra portable storage, pick this puppy up! Hold me financially responsible if it doesnt meet, neigh exceeds your expectations! Mikey out.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Works as expected, but keep in mind that it is currently only useful for the 12" Mac Retina, or another notebook that does not provide a USB port. I have an Apple adapter with a USB slot and plenty of memory sticks, so it was sort of a luxury purchase for me. However if you do need it or just want it like me, I do recommend it.

Good Bargain

Then this went on sale, I purchased and use it to back-up my phone. For that function, it does fine. I don't really use this on my Razer or iMac so I don't experience the overheating or really hot complaint.

I can only use it with the USB-C port and a lot of other products aren’t there yet. It makes it difficult to transfer between devices without a converter.

It works well enough, but the sliding "case" is kind of obnoxious.
