M2 SSD does not fit the PCIe 3.0 X4 physical slot.

The title says "SanDisk - Ultra 500GB Internal PCI Express 3.0 x4 NVMe Solid State Drive" but makes no mention of "M.2". The item received made no mention of PCIe 3.0 X4 but instead the SSD was labeled as shown in the photo and says "SanDisk Ultra | M.2 NVMe 3D SSD". The edge connector on the SSD is NOT designed to fit in a PCIe X4 slot and is not nearly as wide. It would require a separate "M2 to PCIe" adapter card to be able to get installed in a PC without an M2 slot. I returned the M2 SSD and used the store credit to buy a 1TB SATA SSD to replace my C: drive with instead.

Nice to have customer clout with BestBuy as they made this right. Might get bad drives once in awhile but it never stops me from shopping here

Defective drive ..had to replace
