This is a great product. Never had and issues with it. It always connects fast and stays connected until I eject.

Excellent SD Card! I use it for transferring my Elgato video game clips and it helps moves GB's pretty fast. If you haven't bought a SD Card reader in a while, say 5 years, you should upgrade.

I bought this to use to upload SD card data from my digital camera to a desktop PC. The connector on it was not compatible with the USB connector installed in the PC, so I could not use it. This fact was not obvious to me in the product description provided here. I returned this product. When shopping, be sure what you are buying is what you really need.

Nice reader. Like the fixable cable so it dont get in the way with other device in the slot next to it.
I thought it had 2 slots. No micro slot so i need another adapter to transfer data. Speed it ok to upload and download. No issues so far

I've been using the SanDisk Extreme Pro 256GB SDXC UHS-I card with the SanDisk USB 3.0 SD UHS-II Card Reader, and I'm experiencing lower speeds than expected. The maximum read speed I'm getting is only about 50 MB/s, with an average of 30-40 MB/s. This is below the advertised speeds for this combination. Does anyone know why I might be encountering these lower transfer rates or have suggestions on how to improve them?

Actual UH-I speeds are on average about 95MB/s read + 80MB/s write. Tested with SanDisk 128GB Extreme PRO SDXC UHS-I. I presume UHS-II will be at double the speeds.
