    Robust mount

I’ve hung many tvs and whenever I do, I always choose a full motion mount. This is my first Sanus mount and the mount especially the articulating part is very beefy and robust. The mount is the first mount I’ve used that is a three part mount, all others were two part. In some aspects I prefer this as it makes it easier mounting the bracket to the wall. With the Sanus, the part that bolts to the wall is separate from the articulating part, the articulating part is where all the weight is. Having them seperate makes it very easy to always get a level mount. The hardware that comes with the mount seems high quality, but I still always go to my local hardware store and buy grade 8 lag bolts. It might not be needed but it gives me piece of mind. While the three part system makes it easier when installing the wall bracket, it makes hanging the actual tv a two person job. All my other full motion mounts I’ve installed, I’ve been able to hang them by myself if I wanted to, I wouldn’t even attempt it with this mount. That’s not such a bad thing just something to be aware of. The mount is very smooth when you want to adjust the tv and the ability to adjust the tv up and down without needing to take it down is a first for me. With a simple handle you can adjust the height up and down. This feature alone makes the mount worth it, because if you need more room after it’s mounted for a game console or soundbar it’s easy to do. My only gripe with the mount is the price, you do get a lot of features with this mount but it’s not cheap. If it was maybe a $100 cheaper, it would easyily be a five star mount. With that said, all of the cheaper mounts I’ve seen and used, haven’t had the adjustability of the Sanus, especially the veritical adjustment.

Thanks for the heads-up—and we’re really sorry to hear about the rescheduling and missed appointment. While we don’t control Geek Squad scheduling, that experience definitely sounds frustrating. Maybe I should have read the info better because this is so heavy even if you attach to studs it would be precarious especially with the tv in it.

Over the Fireplace? Not at all!

This thing is a beast. It’s massive, heavy and very sturdy. Made of some very heavy duty materials. It was easy to assemble, but I have an issue or two. My review is based on the fact that I have a specific need that I was hoping this would solve. One this is NOT made for over your fireplace. That’s what sold me on getting it and I am highly disappointed. This will not pull out and down over a fireplace. It states in its description that it is perfect for that area. It is not. A tv should never be placed over a fireplace unless you’re able to extend it down to eye level. You should not view a tv at such a height if it cannot adjust. It’s not good for your neck or back, unless you own a bar height couch. It also stated that it can go up and down 8 inches. Which when I first read the description, I did think that, that wasn’t a lot of room to come down over the fireplace but I figured I would still give it a shot. Well it is only a micro adjustment. 4” up and 4” down. Not even a full 8” in either direction. If you are looking for one that can fully extend down and over your fireplace, this isn’t it. My second issue is cord management. It has slots on both top sides of the arms to manage cords. But if you have tons of cords for different systems, such as games, Apple TVs, firesticks, Blu-ray players and sound systems to name a few…well your out of luck hiding those in the management area because each arm can only fit 1 cord. For a grand total of 2 cords. So unless you have an area already made for cord management behind your tv (thank goodness we do) hiding cords could be a nightmare for you if you aren’t handy to diy it behind your walls. It also extends fully out, so make sure you have the longest cords possible. To micro adjust the tv in either direction up or down seems to be a little tricky. Or should I say less than ideal. It isn’t as easy as using a lever or some easy slide function. You have to keep up with the included tool. Pull the tv out. Depending on size of tv and location, tilt to the side. Use the tool to ratchet it up or down and put everything back. All in all, if you have a tv that you consider an investment and want to secure it to the wall for life. Go with this. It’s a beast for sure and will keep your million dollar tv where it needs to be with no sag and fully extendable. Your house will fall before this thing does. However, if you’re like me and was sold on the fact that its description stated, “it was made for over the fireplace” and you expected something similar to the “over the fireplace Pull Down” mounts, skip this. I give the quality and overall durability of this unit a 5, but I have to give it a 3 overall because it didn’t fit my exact needs.

      Hi Shae,
Thank you for taking the time to provide your review! We acknowledge your observation that this does not drop down in front of a fireplace as this is not the designed intent of this mount. Rather, it allows an amount of height adjustment to solve some common installation or situational challenges which can come in handy so you don't have to reinstall the mount if some height adjustments are needed! Thank you again for your comprehensive review and if you have any other questions, please reach out to us at [email protected] or call 1-800-359-5520.

This SANUS Elite wall mount (Model BLF528-B1) is a solid and hefty piece of equipment. I was surprised just how heavy this was – the shipping weight was 53 lbs. The installation of the wall mount is not difficult provided you have the right tools and know how to use them. While I have plenty of experience with DIY, this was the first TV wall mount I’ve installed. And I spent a good amount of time ensuring my stud finder was accurate. In fact, the first set of holes I drilled were unusable because the install screws would stop going in after 3/4 of the way. Of course, none of these issues is a result of SANUS, but the point is be prepared to potentially spend some time on this, including trips to the hardware store if you don’t have the right equipment. Or you could just have someone else do it for you. Once you’re ready to start, the included instructions are fairly straightforward. There is a little bit of trial and error, such as deciding which of the included screws should be used on your TV’s VESA holes. The instructions also have QR code links to videos that are worth watching, though they do not substitute for actually reading the instructions. There’s also a link to a calculator to help you determine how high from the floor the mount should be installed. I recommend viewing that calculator on a computer instead of a phone because it’s easy to make a mistake on the mobile version of that page. When you’re ready to attach the TV to the arm on the wall, I highly recommend having 3 people help, not 2 as the instructions show. The challenge here is that the TV bracket has a lip that must be hooked over an edge on the arm. The fastest and easiest way to do this is to have two people hoist the TV while a third person keeps the arms from swinging and guides the other two to the proper placement. My wife and I tried to do this ourselves, but the arm kept moving out of place, let alone that the TV was too heavy for my wife. Getting a neighbor to help solved the issue easily. What’s great about the mount is you don’t have to be super precise in its placement. After the TV is mounted, there is some wiggle room to lower/raise or tilt the TV as needed. You can also shift the TV left or right on the mount, but this requires taking the TV off the arm. For large or hard to reach TVs, you want to be as close as possible for its lateral installation. Most people are unlikely to move the TV around much once it’s set. But if you do need to, it’s a smooth movement that stays in place nicely wherever you need it to. The design includes a handle that stays tucked behind the TV to assist in swinging it around so you don’t have to smudge the TV or put pressure on the screen. If you’re doing a comparison of this model to others by SANUS, it’s a little bit like mattress shopping where everything sounds the same and is hard discern differences. That said, I have no trouble recommending this one with its quality build and function.

Since we moved into our home we only had floor lamps for the primary lighting in our living room and I always thought it was too dim. I finally put in recessed lights it was like removing sunglasses while indoors... but the then I came to the ugly realization that recessed lights glare badly onto the 65" TV on our console. We worked around it by always turning down the lights and using an ambient backlight but sometimes that isnt enough light. Some TVs can swivel at the base to angle it left or right which would be nice to be able to see the TV from our dining room or when sitting off to the other side of the living room. But my set is on fixed feet that I needed 2 elevate due to my soundbar. I finally decided get a wall mount. My requirements were that it was strong enough to hold up my expensive (to me) tv, can tilt and swivel. This Sanus Elite 4D Shift does all that and more. The whole package comes in a big box. Construction, fit and finish are all sturdy and appear well made instilling confidence to dangle my TV from the wall. Be prepared to call in reinforcements because my wife couldn't help me hold up the TV. Installing the mount took me about 40mins from bringing the box to my living room to hanging the TV on the wall. With the use of laser level (bubble level would work just as well) and stud finder, I figured out where I wanted to mount wall bracket and started busting some holes in the wall. A good impact driver will make short work of driving those lag bolts. I also put in an in-wall cable pass through down to the rear of our TV console to keep wires from being exposed along the exterior of the wall. The cable management routing in the arms kept the 3 wires I needed going to the back of my TV even tidier. Once my extra set of enlisted hands and I got the TV mounted, I couldn't be happier with how it turned out and how well the mount works and moves. Movements bringing it away from the wall swiveling it left and right and tilting it is all very fluid. TV doesn't jiggle when my kid is jumping around in front of it. I can fully extend the TV from the wall and easily see it from our dining room or can sit on any couch in our living room and have the TV facing me wherever I am sitting. The only thing that would make this more advanced is if it followed me on its own... although that sounds a little creepy. The best part of the wall mount is being able to slightly tilt it downward completely eliminated the recessed light glare! That alone makes the Sanus Elite worth the price. I realize there are less expensive mounts out there, but between the sturdy build quality, fluid movement, adjustability and wide range of motion I'd buy it again and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it to anyone with a larger TV looking 2 mount it on their wall.

The Sanus Elite - Advanced Full-Motion 4D + Shift TV Wall Mount is a great, heavy duty wall mount. This is for the 42"-90" wall mount which is very beefy and meant for large and heavy TVs. It is quite heavy compared to other wall mounts that I have used, 50lbs according to the packaging it arrived in, but this comes in use when you are trying to get larger heavier TVs mounted. Setup and mounting was fairly simple with good instructions provided by the manufacturer. Attaching to the TV depends on the VESA pattern of your television but is fairly universal for most TVs. After getting this mounted on my wall with the TV attached I really appreciated the full-motion capabilities of this TV. I was able to mount the wall mount into the studs in my living room, which are off-center, and then move the TV itself to the center for a great viewing angle. This was an issue with my previous wall mount, due to offset and my old mounts limited range of motion, my TV actually ended up sitting quite far off of the wall with my old mount. With this mount that is not an issue and I am able to offset my TV while still having it fairly close to the wall, which looks much better.

This is not your typical tv wall mount that you buy at your local big box stores. This Sanus EliteTV wall mount is amazing! I got this to install a new TV in a room where the wall stud spacing wouldn't allow a typical tv wall mount to center the TV on the wall. The mount came in a large box, good instructions, be sure to mount into the wall studs as this is a big mount. The directions were detailed and there is even an online tool on their website to help with the height placement on your wall. Once mounted to the wall, I had someone help me place the TV onto the mount, it was easy to set it on and secure the TV. This mount has a great range of motion allowing you to put the TV almost in any position that you need to. The cable management channels are the only down thing about this mount, it is a little small and the covers can be difficult to remove, but you'll probably only have to deal with it rarely. Sanus makes the best TV mounts that there are, you definitely get what you pay for, cry once and buy once. This mount is the best that I've ever had.

The Sanus Elite Full Motion 4D + Shift TV mount fits a TV from 42 inches to 90 inches. This TV mount is fully adjustable. You can adjust the TV from the left to the right and upward and downward. The TV mount is also adjustable on a swivel and can be extended up to 28 inches away from the mounting point. When collapsing the mount does not take up too much room. While setting up the mount to the mounting point can be accomplished by one person it is easier with 2 but you may need another person for attaching larger TVs to the mount. After you finish the placement of the mount you can adjust the TV to the required viewing angle easily using the tools supplied. The Sanus Elite Full Motion 4D + Shift is made of high-quality materials, is put together well and should last many years. Of all the TV mounts I have used this is by far the sturdiest and easiest to adjust. The cable management system is sufficient if you use small cables. I had a hard time putting the HDMI cable in after routing the TV antenna cables and the speaker wires.

This mount is like the Cadillac of TV mounts. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and solid this mount was. We needed to mount a TV in the main living space and wanted to make sure the mount would do everything we needed and be reliable. We ended up having this professionally installed to make sure it was done correctly but I think this could be done on your own as well. This was mounted to the studs in the wall in the main living area and we had the wires hidden in the wall at the same time for a clean aesthetic and to keep the kids from messing with it. We will be adding a mount for the sound bar as well so we can ditch the TV stand we were previously using. This was packaged well and wasn't damaged at all upon arrival. I live that you can swivel this and it extends. The TV is not visible pretty much anywhere in the open concept main living area and works great for us. If people are in the kitchen you can still easily view this or move it for better viewing while guests are here and we are entertaining in the kitchen. I wasn't familiar with this brand before but we were told by the installer that this is top of the line and was a perfect option for the new big TV. Definitely recommend.

The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount for TVs 42"-90" is a beast of a wall mount. I have worked with smaller wall mounting kits (single arm, double arm, and flush mount, that were 42” to 65”. The double arm armatures for the SANUS Elite are easily double the thickness, weight, and mobility of the smaller kits I have assembled. For example, I have a SANUS single arm from about five years ago that my 65” LG TV is hanging on. Pushing the TV towards or away from the wall cause the panel to flex slightly because the joints are so tight. The joints on the double armed SANUS Elite, on the other hand, are very easy to move. There is also a tension screw at the elbow of each arm allowing me to tighten or loosen the arms for my specific application. In my instance, I often move the position of the TV if I need to work behind my entertainment center to change out or adjust wires, power cables, or if I am changing out equipment. Being able to push the TV out of the way creates both an easier work experience and increases my personal safety. Personal Safety? Meaning, I can reduce the risk of bouncing my head off the TV when working behind the entertainment center. Quality: The overall build and materials of the SANUS Elite are fantastic. The system is made of steal. There are a few plastic parts which consist of rail covers for the mounting frame, cable covers for the armatures, and some cosmetic pieces. The armature assembly alone weights approximately 28.5 lbs. The wall plate looks thin along the edges but is very stiff and feels rugged in the hand. The wall plate is designed to allow the armature to slide as far as it needs to along the mounting track in either direction. However, follow all of the TV mounting instructions, recommendations, and heed all the warnings outlined in the manual. Just because you can mount your TV with the armature as far to the right as the mounting bracket will allow does not mean that it is a good idea. Assembly: I cannot stress these points enough: 1) read the instructions and learn them forward and backwards, 2) work with a buddy, 3) dry assemble this on the floor before attempting to mount this on your wall, and 4) measure everything before you begin. The instructions for the SANUS Elite are good but could use more written explanation and, in some instances, clearer images. The manual is designed with picture first instructions with minimal written explanation. This is why point 3 above is so important. Some pictorials lack sufficient context which forced me to inspect the whole mounting system before I could I follow the instruction. Good examples of these are the elbow tension screws, the tilt screw, the TV mount locking screw, and the screws required to engage and lock the height adjustment handles. Next, measure everything twice. A properly mounted TV should align the center line of the TV with the your eyes at your viewing position. At least as much as possible and practical with the realities of your viewing space. The SANOS Elite does allow 4” adjustment up and down off the center of the top armature where the TV mounting plate is located. The TV mounting plate is higher than the center line of the wall bracket by about 2.25 inches. This may seem insignificant but, if ignored, could really throw off your installation and your overall cinema experience. My recommendations is to get a piece of paper and draw out the project using measurements from the floor to each piece, including entertainment cabinets, center channels, sound bars, other mounted equipment, etc… to ensure you get the alignment you paid for. The vertical adjustment mechanism will allow for any flaws in measurement and with mounting different TVs with different mounting hole configurations. The TV mounting frame will also offer adjustment options. My recommendation here is measure for today’s TV and, if known, tomorrow’s TV. For example, if you have a 65” TV today from manufacturer X and you want their 77” TV tomorrow from the same manufacture then you can reasonably assume the mounting holes placement on today’s model will be the same or similar on next year’s model. TV Mounting Bracket: The TV mounting bracket will align and work with any TV I can thinking of at any size between 42” and 90”. The bracket has a series of static, well placed holes along the top half of the vertical mounting bars with a long groove cut out of bottom half. The idea is that the top VESA mounting screws will secure using the statically placed holes and then the bottom of the bracket will automatically accommodate the lower screws regardless of their position as long as they are perfectly vertically aligned with the top holes. The vertical mounting bars will also adjust outward, horizontally, on the frame to accommodate narrow and wide VESA mounting hole positions. The mounting arms are then locked into place using screws. The bracket will then pop into the armature mounting plate with little fuss. Be sure to tilt the TV slightly when mounting the TV to the armature mounting plate. This is so that the TV bracket can latch into place properly. Be sure to screw in the locking screw once the TV is in place. Do not try to tilt the TV forward or back until you lock the screw into place. Otherwise, the TV may fall of the mounting arm. Finally, there is a vertically aligned screw next to the TV bracket locking screw that can be used to level the TV. Final thoughts: The SANUS Elite Full-Motion 4D + SHIFT TV Mount for TVs 42"-90" is well-constructed, heavy, durable, easy to manipulate, and will accommodate every large flat panel TV that I have seen. The height adjustment is a real saving’s grace to help with vertical alignment issues as well as moving from different size TVs. It is not magic, but it is a welcome feature that solves more problems than it creates. If you are in the market for a new TV, and are tired of engaging in a small construction project that accompanies a new TV, then give the SANUS Elite a try. It may be exactly what you have been looking for.

This mount is well built, has every feature I could want in a tv mount, and has ample instructions and customer support ensuring a smooth installation. This mount is made of premium materials like steel and seems like it is very durable. Both the portion that connects to the television and the portion that connects to the wall are very sturdy and inspire confidence that they would be sufficient in holding a large television. Sanus states the mount is rated for 125 pounds and I’d feel comfortable putting that much weight on it. Design-wise, this mount is very well thought out. One of the biggest fears I have when mounting a television (or anything really) is that I’ll mount it in the wrong place. This mount qualms that fear by providing a forgiving margin of error. The mount has +-4 inches of vertical movement, 5º to -15º of tilt, 46º to -46º of swivel, 28" of extension, and leveling adjustments. The movement is not only useful for having a margin of error, it also allows you to angle/raise/lower your TV depending on your room configuration. Even with all of the failsafes to make sure I don’t mess up mounting this thing, Sanus does everything it can to help you have a successful installation. They include an instruction manual and a wall template to help get the perfect mount. In the manual there are also links to a video walkthrough of installation, and a web tool to help you determine what height you should mount the tv at. Both were super helpful. Some other features worth noting. It can sit as close as ~2 inches from the wall so if you’re looking for a streamlined look it can do that. I can see myself leaving it “pulled off” the wall on a daily basis, but then pushing it flush against the wall when I have company over. Also, it has built in cable management which is great if you’re trying to go for a sleek “no cable” look. Likewise, the TV mounting hardware has a handle at the bottom of the TV that allows you to reposition without having to grab onto the sides (which is especially useful if you have a very large television). Overall this is a great mount with every feature I could want and the support/instruction I need when installing a television mount.

I have owned or installed dozens of mounts over the years. Nothing beats SANUS mounts, time after time. They have a variety of mounting options that are consistently high quality. The instructions are always clear, important for beginners. They also included a vast array of screws to fix all varieties of mounting situations and TVs. If you are looking for a top quality mount, look no further than a SANUS mount and this specific model doesn't disappoint. Who should by this: You are comfortable with basics of installation and would like extra reassurance through the extra adjustment features of this mount. You have a complex mounting situation. You are looking for a variety of adjustment options on demand. Full review: Upon unboxing, you are met with a plethora of screws, washers, anchors, etc. You will find almost anything you need to set up this mount. I think an important think to note is that even with a wide range of included hardware, there are so many TVs out there and there are an annoyingly endless variety of mounting requirements. I have just gotten to the point where I look up the exact screws/washers I need to mount the TV to the mount itself and the right lag bolts for the mount to the wall and then buy them at the hardware store. That way I know I have exactly what I need and it will be good quality. I don't worry about the quality with SANUS, but it's easier to know I have all the right and good stuff. I really enjoy the full motion mount where my kitchen and living room come together. The best feature is the "Shift" feature. This allows you to move the mount in more directions after all of the installation is fully complete. You can correct any misleveling or just use it to better set your TV in the right place. Even with a close to max weight TV, the mount handles it perfectly well, without any sagging or concern for buckling. This is a top notch mount and I would recommend it and SANUS to anyone.

So, I am a fan of full motion mounts. This takes things to a new level. The components have a very solid and have a feel that just screams quality. Following the instructions is very straight forward and for the most part this can be done with one person, though two would make it easier and I think necessary for the step of hanging the TV on the extension arms. This is the first unit I have installed that has 3 parts, the frame that attaches to the wall, the extension mechanism, and the adapter that attaches to the TV so you can hang it from the arms. Doing this makes for much easier installation especially when it comes to placing it exactly where you want it and getting it perfectly level. Another feature that is not common is a cover for the mounting frame that hides all the attachment hardware - a nice touch! Of course the focus is the ability to change the height after install. This is a nice feature for sure. I think that the horizontal adjustment after mounting the wall frame is actually the most "life saving" feature. Wall studs are almost never in the right spot and I HATE using dry wall anchors or the need to leave the extension arms lop sided to account for this. This allows you to slide the extension arms left or right to make up for the home builders shortsightedness making for perfect placement and piece of mind that the thing will stay up forever. Cord management could be better but is certainly sufficient for installations where you have minimal cords that are of standard diameter. For me, everything fit just fine and with some zip ties you can route extra cords to the arms to keep things tidy. Just make sure to take into account that this a large range of movement. If you want a quality unit that allows for maximum adjustment in just about every direction this is the unit for you.

The Sanus 4D Shift wall mount is quality product on so many levels, but the most useful aspect is the shift. I selected the 42”-90” wall mount for my 75” TV. First thing I should mention is the mount is big, so I wouldn’t go for anything under 45” or else you will see the mount behind the TV. Installing the mount is fairly simple, especially if you have prior experience. The best thing I like about this mount is the full motion and the shift, this makes installing the mount so much easier as you aren’t limited to a specific spot on the wall. Meaning, if you go off center then you can just move the TV to your desired spot. Plus, with the shift feature this allows you to move your TV straight up/down in case you want to add something in the future. After the TV was installed, I am thrilled with how this mount looks. For being a full motion mount, I am impressed at how it’s able to maintain such a low profile. The motion works great! I am able to adjust my 75” TV by myself without any problems. And that includes extending it outward and pushing it back. The hinges on the mount are very versatile making the motion incredibly smooth. I also love how the TV stays in place at the position I put it in. Overall, I love the Sanus full motion mount. My TV looks amazing on my wall, and I love the low profile. Having the shift ability makes it so much easier and stress free when installing, plus it gives you the ability to change your TV’s position in case you want to add something in the future. The motion is very smooth, yet it stays in place. This is by far the best TV mount I have ever had, and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to mount your TV.

Just picking up the box you know this is not your cheap online television mount. It is big and heavy. And when unpacking it you know it was built well and made to last a lifetime. The specs says that it will hold a television from 42" to 90" but I can't see why anyone would use this for a 42" flatscreen. This was built for something bigger imo. Installation is pretty easy and I think most people with limited diy ability can do it. Sanus has installation videos on their website and also provides templates that make marking position easy. I recommend that if you have never installed one before and you plan on mounting a large television, to have a stud finder and mount it to the studs in the wall. The mount itself is a hefty piece. All the tools you need is stated in the instructions, which I think most of us will have in the house. As for the features and function, this is where the Sanus mount shines. I have never had a mount that is able to move the tv vertically. Being able to adjust the tv up or down once mounted is awesome. First it made me much more confident that if my placement of the mount is a little off, it wouldn't be one of those "oh darn" moments. Also, it rotates it so many different angles that however you want that tv pointed, you will get the perfect position. The mount makes adjustment of the television easy. It is smooth yet not loose. I have a cheaper mount in my bedroom for a 42" tv and it's very stiff. This is a mount you want to invest in, it's worth every penny.

I've had my 86 inch TV for a while, but finding a decent mount that doesn't just hold it near the wall has been a challenge, because that makes it difficult to not just get to the inputs but also to articulate the TV in any great form. This SANUS TV mount is an amazing device. It easily holds up my huge TV without issue and makes it easy to adjust the angle and depth no matter what I need. Packaging: I will say I was shocked when the mount arrived. It's huge. The box is equally huge, when i noticed the shipping weight was over 50 lbs I honestly thought I'd been sent the wrong thing. That said, the packaging is good, it's well packed albeit in a brown box, but it's a huge piece of steel so there's not much to complain about here. Mounting: As I mentioned, the thing is heavy. If you're like me and putting it over a fireplace then you're going to need someone or something to help support it while you do, and be sure you have studs to mount this in, it's a true monster. Motion: I will say it makes moving my 86" TV dramatically easier, being able to pull it off the wall or change the angle on it feels like a luxury I've been living without for far too long. Overall: It's a really good mount, so long as you really need a mount of this size, it's rated down to 42", but honestly it's probably overkill for anything that small. But it's the beast you need for a larger TV. I easily recommend it.

The SANUS Elite Full Motion 4D Shift Tv Wall Mount is as big as the name is, but that's a good thing. When the mount showed up to my door I thought surely it took 2 people to deliver it. The box for this thing is massive, the main bracket measures about 40" out of the box to give you an idea of how well built it is. I won't really get into the what's in the box, as you can imagine it has everything you need and then some to get the job done. You will need a few tools but nothing that will break the bank. Installation was about as it is with all wall mounts, it's essentially the same thing, find studs, use template, drill holes, mount bracket, hang tv, adjust. This wall mount is no different in that regard, and again, this is a good thing. No reason to reinvent the wheel here. Overall this thing is a beast and will happily hold some of the biggest & heaviest tv's out there, up to 125lbs and 92 inches, i mean are you even watching tv if it's not on a 90+ inch television? This mount does everything you would want a mount to do and more. It sits almost flush against the wall, as well as pulls out swivels left and right up down, you can also adjust height of the device after it's all mounted, which is nice for that very precise height you want. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a heavy duty, rugged wall mount with full motion capabilities.
