    I used this to mount a 43” tv. The release cords hang and remain visible under the tv (yes I adjusted them to their minimum length). There is no safety to prevent the mount from sliding side-to-side or even off of the rail. I don’t think the design is well thought-out.

    I would buy the one that swivels left to right . This is ok if you don’t want to move it left or right .

    We mounted this with one tv and then when we switched out tvs it is too high and doesn't have any slide down capability.

      Hi Jsue,
      Yes this is a fixed mount so it does not have the flexibility to move. The only way to get this lower would be to reinstall the mount to the proper viewing height you need. I would suggest a full motion articulating mount next time, this does not lower down, but swivels and has 1/2" lateral adjustment on each side to get it to the perfect viewing angle!

    Lousy installation. I ordered 4 TVs to be installed today. Only one works, and one has a crack in it. Customer service blew me off like I didnt exist when I called. They don't have good techs and they don't stand by their work. I can't even get a call back from them. Shameful![
