Lag bolts were square drive and stripped during installation. Poorly designed hardware for the intended application. Replaced bolts with hex drive style to finish project.

To Close to the wall

Sorry to hear that. This mount is a fixed mount therefore the viewing angle cannot be adjusted. If you are looking to adjust the viewing angle I would recommend a tilt or full motion mount.
