Love it, MacBook Air doesn’t have USB or HDMI but this thing solves it all, just plug it and ready to use, it’s small and easy to storage in my backpack it even come with other type c since it uses the 2 type c on the left side of the MacBook Air, and I love how it comes with the SD slots too, and it doesn’t take the charging space for the MacBook Air, very useful I really recommend it,

When purchasing an early Macbook Pro M2 the lack of ports was concerning so reviewing option the Satechi looked like the clear choice... and it certainly has. Light, compact and fast transfers. Would highly recommend.

The Satechi takes care of what I need with more than enough ports for anything else I may need in the future.

This product was dead after 3 weeks of normal use. I went to return it and the girl told me they would not take it back even if it is defective. I will not be going back to Best Buy. The cost is way too high I can find a lower cost one of better value on Amazon. Amazon will let me return it esp, if it is defective. Goodby Best Buy.

I specifically liked this product because of its small size and very low weight. This also does not prevent the macbook lid from closing. Please note it uses both the USB C ports to connect to the macb. It has 2 USB A ports which I continuously use. It has an HDMI and 2 SD/micro SD ports that I havent tried yet. It also has 2 USB C ports, one of which is a pass through for charging. But i didn’t need the passthrough because i use the magsafe charger directly with the macb. The good thing about the design of this hub device is that it keeps the magsafe port of the macbook accessible. That’s a huge plus. One small negative is that the USB A ports are very tight and you need to push the connectors into the hub with a bit of force. Its best for devices that are continuously connected but maybe annoying if you want to take them out frequently. Overall, I would recommend this product.

This thing does its job. Light weight and easy to pack in my small tech bag for all my laptop and charging accessories. Only drawback if you like to use a hard case on your macbook air, you will have to remove the bottom casing for this to fit properly. If that's not a big deal for you, then I highly recommend.

This really an official hub for my Macbook Pro, I had hdmi plugged in, SD card while charging at the same time. Its plug and play feature, you can take it off if you dont need it. Price wise its decent I mean Quality over quantity. I just wish it was cheaper.

Works great with my Macbook Pro. Price is in bit higher range. How long it will last not sure as not using much. Recommend for only who use it everyday. Will only fit in Macbook. Won't fit in dell or lenevo laptop.

I purchased my MacBook Air and realized I needed more than 2 USB-C ports. I use my MacBook to edit photos. It goes everywhere my camera and I go. But how would I read my SD card?? Well, I went to bestbuy.com for an answer and I found it! The Pro Slim Hub is slim, compact and well built. It fits perfect in my laptop bag. Best part….IT MATCHES my MacBook PERFECTLY! I highly recommend purchasing this as it will make life much easier!

This dongle is functional but is missing an important feature. You cannot charge and use a thunderbolt device simultaneously on older MacBook Pro models. I have the 2019 model if the MacBook Pro and it’s honestly a bummer because I have long sessions with my audio interface and battery drains quick. If there us a solution I don’t know about, I’d live to be informed.

Works just as good as more expensive docks only thing that sucks is it comes out too easily
