    it's a hard drive, it reads and writes around advertised speed, expect to last a while as my back-up drive.

    With lots of transfers of games and deleting games this drive lasted about 12 months. I would not recommend it, budget friendly for sure but out of all of them I have purchased over the years for backup game storage only 2 of them were reliable. I would stick with WD for external/internal backup or slower gaming drives. I have had a WD black HDD for 5 years and NVME for 3 and have had no issues.

    It's a good harddrive for single player games. Multiplayer games take a little long to load on it. But for just extra storage, it's pretty decent.
